I received a call from a man with a very thick middle eastern accent claiming to be Eddy Jones from a Shawn Law Firm in California.  He stated that I owed them money from a cash advance from a business called National Cash Advance.  I do not owe anything on any cash advances.  He stated that either myself or my lawyer needed to call him or else things would unfold on my and I would be arrested and sent to California.  I know this is a scam and he needs to be stopped.  I have contacted my local police department, my states attorney general as well as the FC3.  These people are crooks!!!
The number showed up on my caller ID as 1-268-0004...odd number, do they honestly think we are that stupid???

These people, who can barely speak english, with a heavy Indian accent, are calling my cell phone and leaving messages for someone I don't know. I finally got a number they left to call back, and told them please do not call this number, there is no one here by that name, you are wasting my minutes and I work for a law firm. He said OK, verrry sorry, but do you know .... I said no I do not, delete this number from your system please. The very next day I received 2 calls again from them. The message they leave is one of "dire consequences, and legal actions, including court and jail if you do nothing, and do not respond."

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I just got a call from 760-282-4091. Some 20-30 year old asian named Julie said somthing about time sensitive material and that if I didn't respone they could only wish me good luck as my fate unfolds

I jus received a call from them @ my place of work telling me that on tomorrow they will be taking me to the court house. Because of a pay day loan from 2 years ago. I am not sure about my options.

The number was the same on the caller id. 801-268-0004. And when I searched it says it is a land line in Murray Utah. It gave the location too. And I intend to notify the proper authorities. His number he gave was 760-282-4091. It probably just calls back and charges you for the call out of the country. Dream on.......

I got the same call from a man named Gary Wilson and he actually called my work line. And said the same message.

A man with a very heavy middle eastern accent called and said his name was Eddy Jones from Shawn Law Firm in California.  He said that we owed money for an unpaid cash advance to a National Cash Advance.  We do not owe money to anyone and so I knew he was lying.  He also stated that if we did not return his call we would be arrested and sent to California.  Refuses to send a debt validation letter which is legally required.  He also stated that this would unfold on us and he could only say God Bless.  This is an obvious scam and so I have contacted the local police, my states attorney general and the FC3.  The number showed up on my caller ID as 1-268-0004.  These are the worst kinds of people imaginable and they really need to be stopped.
