No its not a scam i had taken the Payday loan & never ever paid back i also ereceived the paper works from them they call the people who dont take care of their loan so please if u think that they are scam then its wrong

I received 5 calls from an unknown number this evening.  This number was given as the number to call back.  It was a foreigner with an indian/middle eastern accent.  The 1st time, I told him to not call me again.  He just kept talking over me, so I hung up.  He immediately called back.  I could barely understand him.  I told him I couldn't understand what he was saying.  I thought he was asking if I was a non-profit.  He gave a S.S. # and asked if it was mine.  I said no (it wasn't).  I told him to go back to his country, that this is America, and we only speak english here.  He just continued talking over me.  He said "you are anti-Christ". I hung up.  He called a 3rd and 4th time.  I picked up the phone and hung back up each time.  He immediately called back a 5th time.  This time I called the police from my cell phone.  He was leaving a long message on my answering machine while I was speaking with the police.  They said all they could do was send someone to take a report.  I said I didn't think that would do any good and never mind.
After listening to the message a few times, I was able to decipher some of it.  He was asking for Mona Profit (not a non-profit), he said for her to call this number right away.  The S.S.# he gave had 2 digits missing.  He said that it would be blocked for 1 year.  Mona's bank accounts and phone would be "stopped", something about "you will be sent to china", If her employment found out, she would lose her job.  He also kept saying that something was going to happen tomorrow morning. There was some other inaudible stuff, then he said in a sarcastic tone, "have a nice day."  I tried calling this number that was given, but all I get is a generic voicemail.
I was becoming paranoid thinking these were foreign terrorists or something.  I have never received this type of call.  Usually it is evident right away that it is some kind of scam.  
It is somewhat of a relief to see that I am not the only one who has received this type of call.
If it was really someone trying to collect on a loan, they had the wrong number.  I don't owe anyone anything.

I have no idea who this is and they should never call my job.  Does anyone know who this is.

Ron Williams has called me many times and says hes from a New York court and i better watch out cause they are coming to get me i told him go a head and i'll hook him up for lying about being a cop as i am a retired one and law enforcement doesn't do civil matter i have now been calling him back and giving him hell what a jack off he is trying to use scare tac he's an a hole

THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS DO NOT FALL FOR WHAT ANY THING THEY SAY ,THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH ME FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS KHAVE TALKED WITH ATTORNEY GENERALS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT.DO NOT FALL FOR THERE SCAMS.

It is a scam. Also, the only way your wages will be garnish is thru the courts but only on situation as child support, student loans, or the IRS.  But for a payday loan I don't think so. Also, it is harrassment that they call like that, but you would think that all the times they call they could have been at your house by now or arrested you as they say is going to happen. They need to look up the consumer protection act under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. (FDCPA).  Its against the law to hassle people like they do. And if you owe some kind of debt tell the MF's to send you a debt validation letter or better yet see if you can get their address to send them one.  I bet they will not give any address, because they use false numbers to give you to call back. When you call them back you hear a lot of other indians accent MF's on the phone saying the same thing to others. Its a shame especially when they just trying to get your hard earned money out of you. Hay, keep calling them back.  They have been calling me for so long that when they do call my cell and my kids may answer, my kids just tell them that my mom said she's still waiting.

I received a call from a John Luke. I don't know any John Luke that has an indian accent. It is a scam, they get your information and try and get you to pay money. Just ignore it.

Yes, he called me today too - he also uses another number - 253-242-9344  It is a scam, just hang up on him, he's rude, called me a bi***, so I've been calling him back (10x) now and telling him what he can do with his cows. I also asked him why  he's using this phone # now when just a few days ago he used the 253 number...they are going after anyone with a pay day loan - whether its paid off or not and will threaten to come arrest you - 1st off, if your answering these calls on your cell phone, how do they know where you are, 2nd, no one can arrest you for a civil matter - i.e. lawsuit for failure to pay.  I work in HR, and if someone is behind on payments, or has defaulted on a loan, it goes thru the court system and the possible wage garnishment, no one arrests you, these are all scare tactics they use. Don't fall for it - contact your States General attorney's office. I've been enjoying messing with them by calling them back and asking them how they like getting harassed....he disconnected the number. What a putz.........

A Ron Williams called me from 760-349-6592 he said there was a law suit pending and I could loose my job they call me at work, cell phone and home phone he is hard to understand he said I was going to be sent to the gatehouse with two other people.  I think this is on a very old payday loan that was paid off and I closed that account 4 years ago.
