I rec'd a call from them stating I owed $275 plus interest since dec 2003. Ummm the laws in Texas state 4 years you have to " legally " collect on a debt.Payday loan are a debt. yes I defaulted in 2003 due to the circumstances that happened at that time. The interest  had paid monthll they rec'd far paid them back their $200. She acts like I am going to be thrown into jail and legal proceedings. well, I know the law and after 4 years you can try and personally collect but legally there is nothing that can be done. Statute of limitations has well passed twice!

And,in small claims court, they can't use their fancy lawyers. Just complain, they will have to confirm they let Marauder do the query. Then demand $1000 or just go ahead and sue them.

He has had a bunch of company names, such as Marauder Corporation, Check Protocol Services, Check Protection Services, National Capital Recovery, Collection Protection Systems and Bill Collector in a Box. Note that he likes the initials CPS as he can send that on call id and people think it is Child Protection Services.

He has a criminal record and outstanding arrest warrants. Some day Dog the Bounty Hunter will grab him.

He scammed a couple of pay day loan places out of their databases. He also gets your files from Experian, Transunion and Equifax credit reporters.

He?s done some kind of deal with call centers in India as he hopes to keep his name out of it as his name is well known.

These a*holes called and asked me to deliver a message to my neighbor.

The neighbor said they want someone with a similar name on some bogus payday loan check.

So the neighbor called them and jerked them around about the payment. They are unstable and said very odd things, such as that people who complain about them disappear.

He recorded the whole call, legal in this state, and has now filed a police report as at one point the "agent" said he could get an arrest warrant.
