These people have been caling me for 7 months now always the same line but not always the same people or numbers! They are definetly a scam my attorney has contacted them and they always back donw but they also always call back they will never send you any written information on any of the debt they say you owe. I know this is scarey but I believe they have no power. I dont know if they should be labeled as debt collectors scam artists or what but I do know I am tired of them harrassing me they are even now calling my job! It is always a diferent company name and they claim to have never called me before but it is always they same message word for word.

Anyone with this problem needs to report it to www.donotcall.gov.  This is the FTC.  I am trying to straighten this out for my elderly, health impaired mother who has excellent credit and no financial debt or concerns.  I was forced to purchase and add caller ID to her phone line.  The Annoyance Call Bureau with ATT gave me the website above.  This is all any of us can do, but we ALL have to do this, because the more that complain will get this some action.  We have multiple numbers calling her as do many of you.

they have been calling me saying i better have my attorney call them because i am being charged with fraud and s***.

The exact samething happened to me. They need to be stopped seriously. I got the call monday and they told me the cops are coming to get me from my home wednesday(which is tomorrow) and i havve to stay in there til friday. I have proof and witnesses that say i didn't get the money and bank statements that note i didn't get it. I told them come on with it. I got an atoorney. I'll see them @ court. This same number called me 760-437-6212.. This is very annoying. I'll have to get my number changed or go to another phone company.. But like i said they need to be STOPPED!!!

The number called me sayin I had a warrent out for my arrested if I don't pay 886.16 by the same day. They also said the cop were going to come to my house and take me to jail for 3days. I tried calling the number back and I could get through and I told them I talked to a legal person and they broke laws by tryin to get me to send them money. I could go to any court house and solve the issue and not pay them. Watch out!!!! I'm glade I looked up the number jus to be sure it was real.

I got the same call about two weeks ago. They didn't call back until today with a different number claiming the same thing. Last time I called them back and told them they would be receiving papers at their place of work and be taken to court. They stopped calling for a while.

I get calls all day at work and eventually this will get me in hot water.  It's annoying harrassment.  They threaten but don't do a hot gosh damn.  AND it just happens that they are all of Indian nationalities and once I called that out on them and it was so hilarious hearing the moron try to disguise his voice as an american.  Until I got him angry and his accent came back.  they use these names, Officer David Lang, Ton Jackson, Alan Smith all from the National Crime Investigation Bureau.  I traced one phone number and it goes back to a magic jack line.  How pathetic.  The names and the company names are so vague and laughable.  i really don't understand how these idiots believe this will work.  It's a giant room ( and good forbid me for saying this, but this is what it is) like a sweat shop of rows and rows of Indians calling people with the little bit of info they obtained from you if you tried to get a loan of the internet.  You thatought their website was legit, you put in minimal info and that's what they try to use against you.  little do they not know, you never got approved for any loan.  They try to scare the people who have actually recieved payday loans and think they can "Jedi-Mind" trick them becuase of the payday loan.  But they keep saying they have my bank info and all.  That's good to know, becuase I don't have a bank account.  They only bad thing is the phone calls they don't stop.  So you know what i do and then they stop for like two weeks, keep calling tehm back the same day harrassing them letting them know it's a scam and they stop.  I even have one company that already knows me and when the 'NEXT" indian in line got my number and a told them I need to speak to Ofc. Lang and ask him about Ms. Giancola, they said we are sorry, we will not call back.  The guy finally told me it was a scam.  That's how much we were on the phone togther, he had no choice but to tell me the truth.  But now they must have sold my info now another company, same bull crap, different company name and telephone.  We need to get together and let the world know of the scam on tv.  so they can stop.  I'm telling you it's little telemarketing Indian sweat shops!!!!!!!

A representative called on my husband's cell phone looking for someone named Julia Brown.  The rep said she was facing some sort of legal problems.  I call the number back and told the rep that if this phone number was not removed from their data base, they would be facing legal problems of their own.

This company called bout a loan I did online but,, they were not good bout any information I was using vut,, they said I was going too get arrested n be embarrased n have a felony against me... so to prove them wrong I had too contact my attorney n they back down from the scam,,, they was trying too pull!!

why do we have to put up with these scammers?why cant something be done about these rude

Don't even give them that moochie. Don't give them the satisfaction of thinking they might have someone. I have found the best way to deal with these scam artists is to curse them out until they hang up. I don't even give them the chance to speak anymore once I start. They can't even get in a goodbye FU as I am constant and lound.

A drunken fishwife would be proud. I have never had any of these scammers call back a second time. I call them out, call them scammers and let the expletives fly.

Hello B-Jay I am glad I am not the only one who has been receiving calls from them it started with Eric and today it was a woman first asking me did I know I had a case against me and then transferred me over to an attorney named Chris Carter. It started last month when I applied for payday loans  but did not get them I had entered all of my information on these websites but decided that I did not need the loans. First time they(Eric) called he said I owed a debt of 900 hundred and something dollars and I asked him to give me the name of the place and when did they put it into my account; the date did not match so I knew something was wrong immediately. Today, 8/12/2011, they (Chris Carter) called saying now I have a debt with US cash  a payday loan. I asked him when did I receive the loan he told me sometime before May 24 and I asked how come you can not give me an exact date and then he told me he will mail me papers and I told him do that cause I need proof

these people are scam artists.  They are trying to sucker you out of your hard earned money.  You owe them nothing........give them nothing!

Yes, this is a fraudlent scamming company. Please advise, just hang up the phone. They will call purposely for weeks trying to pry sensitive information from you. The week before they called talking about an Officer Martin and arresting if I did not call back. Of course, I knew better.  I have no idea how they even got my name, number, and last 4 digits of my social security number. After listening to this bogus bullying for a few minutes, I asked who the hell they were and why they were calling me. I knew for a fact that I had no such transactions or dealing with this type of "payday loan". The person on the other end got nervous and started rambling nonsense and quickly hung the phone in my face. Please report to whoever you can...Better Business Bureau or whoever..Warn Others!!!!

They have no power to arest you go to youtube and record the irish mental health hotline message.It got rid of all of my debt collectors once in for all.

I use to be a bona fide debt collector.I would use the same tatics.What they are doing is in violation of the FDCPA law from the FTC Federal Trade Comminsion.If you can't trace them they are more than likely a shadow company from a pay day loan you did not pay.They could loose their license and all get arested for this.

I've been getting the same kinds of calls, made the mistake of making inquiry about one of these short term "pay day" loans but never made any kind of a loan from anyone.

They obviously have access to your information, including your social security number through one of these thousands of site that keep e-mailing me. Not sure what to do next, I just tell them to "come get me" but I'm concerned that identity theft is an issue with the information they have!  Plus all the threats and the calling employers, etc.  Maybe the US Attorney needs to be contacted?

They called me too. 3 times now asking for personal nformation. They said I have 3 criminal charges against me, and that I would possibly be picked up by the police from my job. Who are these people? I am scared!

I just got a call from the same number, 760-437-6212. Lady stated her name was "Amy White". I got a call a few weeks ago from 718-819-7285 by a man named "Ricky Martin". This is a scam, for sure. I told both of them that this was a place of business (they called my office) and that personal calls were not tolerated. I advised them that I would call them back, which I did and will not do. Of course, they threatened me and made sure I was to call back "or else" This is annoying and ridiculous.. I am hoping they will NOT call back...

Im still being harrassed by this number  and scam agency..they keep calling...i think we should all look into getting them stopped..im on it now..

this number contacted my job 760-437-6212 stating that it was officer frank mcneal.  but when you call the number back it states this person unavailable.  please call back again and no you can't leave a message.  i knew it was a scam when i saw the area number, because i had a call on my cell phone with the same area code number and the first three numbers 760. but the last four is different, which stating they was calling that i was approved for a loan.  they nver give you a company name is real and never give you the direct number they calling from.  the numbers they give is for other companies like total gym, proactivate or lawyer office called morgan & assoc.

Yes I recieved four calls from them today saying i was approved for a payday loan and that i was delinquent in paying it and i was going to be arrested and sued and they also told me they were going to call my aunt who was a reference of mine on a loan application -that  was never approved or deposited to my account!- anyway they told me theyre calling her next to tell her she will be arrested friday and is responsible and going to be charged for "what ive done" they claimed..They couldnt provide me with the loan company or anything I supposedly got this loan that doesnt appear on my bank statement anywhere nor did i sign any loan documents with any of the lenders i applied at. Andersens claimed to be attorneys for this mystery loan company that i also havent recieved any deposit from nor documentation,  nor phone calls, email or mail  from as far as the contract or payment schedules or anything.. What the hell is going on here?

Total scam.  I had calls from 760-437-6212 and a man identifying himself as Eric from the Anderson & Anderson Law.  Threatened me with a law suit, .

I told them him I was SF just back from the war and I will find him. He call me a M F and hung up.
