I rec'd the same phone and also from different numbers 760-933-1508 & 1507 & 760-453-0184. They all say the same thing as above, stating that they are going to come serve me papers at my job to take me before a judge in CA. They had my social security #, bank name, address, emplyment, etc.... I have reported them to the FTC & would advise anyone else to do so also.
They call me everyday!

I got a call from this number and the person said is name is david cooper and that i needed to call him back immediately. The idiot didn't even answer the phone. he even called my job with this foolishness. if they call themselves scamming somebody, they need to learn to speak english. i am tired of these harassing calls. someone needs to help figure out how to put a stop to these jobless hacks. i really want to use other but i won't.

I have now received this call for the second time. Do not call back it is a scam they say you have taken a loan and must pay a certain amount by a certain time do not do it. I called the guy back the first time and told him I need to speak to Gary Williams he said hang on and when he connected me it was the same voice and I told him this is the same guy I continued to question him and what kind of scam he was running I told him I contacted the proper authorities He told me he did not give a bleep who I contacted and hung up and I never got a phone call again until know. The first one was about 6 months ago so I might call back and f with them again. I checked also with the police and by the time they locate the number they say the people usually get a new one. Do not give them any bank info or numbers of any kind. Best thing do do is don't call back.

I got the same cal from 760-453-0184 It was from Carlsbad,Ca. They called my cell phone
asked for me by name and wanted information from me I told them I do not give that kind of information
out over the phone. Then hung up They called back 7 times with in 2 mins I did not answer the number
Then he left a voice mail Said my name then said you have no Idea who your dealing with I will have my people and local police pick up up and take you to the court house. then said mark my word.Its all scam
to get information. He even knew where I work. Then he called back todays later left same message.
Word for word Sounded like a recording to me. I know a lot police and they just don't take you to the court
house. They haul you off to jail. Then court. SCAM SCAM SCAM Hope they get them.

I get the same phone calls! I put their number on my not allowed numbers on my cell phone! I looked up the number and it is a cell phone out of Oceanside, CALF, so yeah, total scammers!! However today is the day the local police and legal investigators will be at my work!!

Got a phone call from this number while at work saying I would make a big mistake if I disregarded the call, that my world would be turned upside down and that I'd need the prayers, which is all they could offer me.  I called them back furious after the threatening voicemail and the guy "Brian" said that I was going to be made an example of by USLoans, who was taking me to court for $5000.  He told me that he wanted to talk to my attorney after I pressed him for information, and I told him he could speak directly to me.  We went back and forth after I told him I would gladly see him in court, and he hung up the phone.  I called back about four times, finally got through, and the "law office" had another "employee" who walked the phone over to the alleged paralegal Brian.  He and I got back into yelling and I told him not to call me or threaten me ever again and file the papers if he wanted to make an example of me.  He yelled at me to stop calling him he had other people to talk to and to have a happy new year.  Plan on calling them again as much as I can til they change their number, hopefully I can kill time so they can't be calling other people and actually be successful with this scam. Meanwhile, reported them to the California Bar, FBI, IC3, and my banking institution to be vigilant.

i just received a call from them tellin gme they will press charges on Tuesday. They said i received a payday loan to my current bank without paying them back.  His name is Gary Williams, he then connected me to Austin Black.  He said i owe them 967.45.  I never received anything from this company.  they are full of crap.  can someone please tell me what i have to do to report them?

I got a call from this number and they said they were calling from the Law Office of California (yea right!) to let me know about a case and they needed to speak with my attorney.  They yelled at me saying it was in reference to a loan. I told them I don't have any loans and if they want to do business send me a letter.  I hung up on them. They called back and said that I will have a summons on my door tomorrow and I said OK fine and hung up again.

This number called my cell and said that they needed to speak with me or my attorney regarding "urgent time sensitive matter and If you do not or your attorney respond all I can say is good luck I wish upon you!"  The name that was left on the voicemail was a Alvin Russell at 1-760-453-0184.  Did not give a company name and this "Alvin Russell" sounded like he was reading from a script and had a very heavy idian accent.  A red flag immediately came to me when I heard this message.  It is a scam.  I did not bother on returning their phone call.  Nor should anyone else.  Check your bank accounts to see if any unauthorized withdrawls have been done.  If so Immediately contact your bank!!  The reason why they are calling to scare you into paying for something you did not recieve. The only way they can access your accounts is with your voice recorded approval.  So the best thing is to not return their call.

Yes I keep getting the same calls, however I have been advised to NOT call them back and the last vm I got from Shawn Smith, who tried oh so very hard to keep his accent to a minimum said he wished me luck! I am sick of these a**holes calling my work and my cell number, I have put the numbers on my no call list on my cell company so hopefully that works!!

I got a call from this number, caller's name is Gary Williams.  He left voicemail and threatening me or my attorney to give him a call back.  I called that number, he didnt pick up the phone.  After 30 seconds, he called  me.  I couldn't even understand him, he has a very strong Indian accent.  I asked him to spell his last name, where in California, what county, what company.. I asked him what was this all about... of course he couldn't give me any answer.  I was so mad!  He didn't give me any information at all. I called our local police department and file a police report.  Pls keep me posted about this.  This people are slimes!!!!

This BS has been going on for almost 2 yrs. Always the same SCAM, Bob Smith Shawn Smith, Frederick Squat, Dave Matthews...ALL WITH EAST INDIAN ACCENTS; right! The calls come from all over, but always the same story, some more harassing than others. I always Google the phone number, then file a complaint with the FCC, then try to get thru to the FBI in the state the call comes from. Sometimes I get thru, sometimes not. These Scammers have been featured on ABC Nightly News, and the BBB has as story about on their website. As far as anyone knows, this SCAM is operated by a married couple in India. They somehow have links to land phone lines in the US. I have been advised not to talk with them, but just keep taking the messages, and reporting them. It's really a shame that the US opens it doors to so many countries, and this is the thanks we get. It is not legal for any REAL Debt Collector to call a place of employment once they've been told to cease. It's also not legal to threaten anyone with an outstanding debt, and it really illegal to lie about being a Federal Officer; which they frequently do!

I received a message from Adam Woods, however he just said he is from a law group in Calf, that is all the information I got from him. He said I borrowed money from US Cash and I never did, I proceeded to ask him when this loan was taking out and he said he couldnt tell me b/c he didnt know so I asked him to give me the phone number from the company so I could call and find out myself, he got very mad at me and said if you dont pay this I will have legal investigators at your work with police Monday and they will take you to the courthouse and you better have $8000 to pay on Monday. I have reported this to the FTC, the FBI and local authorities. I just hope these people get caught soon!!

yes lori I got the same phone call yesterday on my cell and at work. I freaked out b/c he said I borrowed $956 from a company called us cash  that i never even heard of so then he proceeded to say if I didnt pay within an hour that come Monday I would have local investigators and police at my work to take me to the court house to pay $8000.00 that day and I better have the money. His name was Adam Woods and very mean and abusive. I immediately called my attorney and he told me it was a scam and nothing can be done to me, there is no such thing as being arrested for not paying a debt, then he told me if he called back to tell him to hold on so I can get a tape recorder and that I already contacted the attorney general for Washington State and that I wanted his license # that gives him the right to collect in Wash State and Calf State as well, he got pist at me and proceded to tell me that he was just a collection agency so he hung up and called my work back and left a nasty message on the voicemail. I told him I contacted the local police dept, the FTC, the FBI as well as my attorney and that he needed to contact my attorney for anything further, again he hung up on me!! There have been a few people in the city I live that this is happening too!! This Adam Wood has a very strong accent sounds like he is from India or something.

i am single mom and recieved the same type phones on my cell and work. Telling me if i didnt pay them the 1000.00 dollars i owe they were gonna come and arrest me at my job and told me not to worry about kids cuz they have people to take care of them for me while i was detained. Can you believe this. I at first was very scared trying run around and pay amount cuz i have bad credit. My best friend happened to say that last year same thing happened to her. Then i call to question them about my account he became irate and started screaming at me. They wanted me to sign paper sayin our agreement of 300.00 now and pay rest next month and fax it too them within hour. I became soo upset and had my friend google the num and thats how i found about scam. Blocked the num and now they have tried to call me there.. This is awful to think of how many people have just paid them and they made of with their money.

Lori , you and I both. I'd love to sue their behinds so bad for stressing me out and having me thinking I am going to jail for something I did not do. Even though I told them to kiss my a*** and I owed nothing and called Meta Bank - the prepaid debit card's info I gave when attempting to get a payday loan - and they told me there was no transactions on the card since I got it - I was still scared that something was going on and did not sleep well with the prospect of jail and being told Monday they will pick me up. After calling several places and the FTC and all I got real peace of mind that this is all a scam and not worried now.

These people called me and harressed me. I called my local police department and gave them all information. I'm scared because they have all my infomation.
The mans name was sean smith, with a strange accent. He was mean and so was whoever answered the phone, I would like to sue them.

They told me Monday morning I would be picked up lol well here it is after 3 and I am sitting here on my lappy! Do not let them scare you they are not ligit for one and two they are tryin to "steal" money by some twisted deception of claiming we receieved these loans we didn't. Further more funny as it was and I laughed right in their face on the phone, when I was told that his officers were on the way to "benefits" my employer to deliver my subpeona - I listed my income as benefits these morons !!  LOL
On the other side of the coin though what is not funny is they have all of our info - so make reports to local law enforcement and FTC and whoever else you can get to listen to you in the fed fov offices. Also keep in contact with your bank for any suspicious activities,

they are calling talking about legal procedure and if  dont pay ill serve jail time they are calling family and they have all my info and only give info to where to send money to nothing about the company and very aggressive language!!

Call them back and tell them you know what the hell they are pulling here and that you reported them to the gov for fraud and harassment - they will get scared and hang up on you and not call back.

I too received a call about two weeks ago and again today.  Today I told them that I did have an attorney and would like to give them their name and number so they could go through them.  He (the voice with the middle eastern accent), told me he would need to get an officer on the phone then hung up.  This is bull....that the number can't be traced back to hold these true scam artists accountable!

Tell them that you KNOW they are a fraud and you have reported them to various government agencies and that they cannot do ANYTHING to you and if they call back one more time you will call the police and have them arrested for harassment!

I called them and asked where is my subpeona? He said wait and put me on hold, after a few seconds he come back to tell me that his officers are on the way now to my benefit with it ROFL - I guess they are driving from Cali to Pa ( YEAH OK - Idiot). I asked him how long is he planning to play his games with me since I know he is full of s*** and he hung up. LOL

Then I called back to tell him my benefits office is closed but when he asked my name he hung up when he heard my name since I told him I knew what he is doing. Further more it sounded like he was in an Internet cafe LOL again - and you can tell they are not using landlines since the calls fade in and out and get static in them.

Great ! You may have some pull being in the military to get the JAG officer to send this information to someone of authority more direct than what our complaints and calls are doing. Keep us informed !

No, they cannot do nothing from all the information I have collected thus far. I have been on the phone all day thus far calling everyone I can think of and they all said they are aware of it - or jumped in to say that it is a scam. I have stated to all of them that this is serious !! They have all of our information! I have even contacted INS lol in hopes that possibly they would be interested in getting involved to track these individuals via the number that they are currently using and check the status of their citizenships. Dead end though.

Make a complaint with the FTC
Call your local governor's office and make a complaint or have a form sent to return your complaint to them.
You can also contact the FBI in your area

also if it will make you feel better contact your district federal court and ask some questions about the alleged charges and if they have anything there in file on you - this is my next step and hopefully there will be someone there I can make contact with who can push this mess forward and stop these idiots.

I will keep calling everyone I can and work to get these maniacs prosecuted if at all possible and hopefully deported lol I would take an educated guess that they are not natural born citizens based on the accents they have, and could be deported if we can all get together and get them busted.

Hang in there ! Calm down - they are just trying to get our money and scare us which they have succeeded in scaring me pretty bad too up till I took some action and made some calls and search the web for possible scam/fraud.

Ok, I see that I am not alone in this mess going on.
Lastnight 5:51 p.m. I receieved a call from these scam artists also stating I got a loan and I did not repay and now I am going to be picked up by authorities on Monday and facing fraud charges and so on or whatever he was rambling on about. The caller ID showed Carlsbad Ca and the numer 760-453-0184 - I did a reverse look up of this number and it said it was TMobile for the carrier- I just finished talking with them and it is not one of their numbers - I will continue to search to find who is the carrier of this number and make a report there as well that they are using their services to harass and make these fraudulent calls to all of us.
I have called Tom Corbett's office and they are mailing me a complaint form (The Governor of Pa).
I have called the FTC as well and made a complaint lastnight.
I called the Carlsbad Police and they said call my local police - awaiting a  return call now.

THIS IS SCARY CUZ I KNOW I DONT HAVE ANY OTHER PAYDAY LOANS EXCEPT WITH MONEY TREE AND THOSE ARE ALWAYS PAID OFF. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. MY FIANCEE JACKSON SAID THAT THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND NOT TO BOTHER WITH THEM OR TALK TO THEM. MY FIANCCE IS A UK CITIZEN AND HE TOLD ME THAT HIS PEOPLE GET THE SAME SCAMS. WHAT CAN I DO?
