I am having the same problem as the people above with these people.  How can we stop them.  I know it is a scam but what other can we take to stop this harrasment?

KANSAN,,,,yes there a scam and if they know that your upset from the phone calls they will continue to call..
next time they call get the full name of the person even though it will be bogus and make sure you have the phone number..them call the number to make sure there receiving calls..
now if you have the time go on line and fill out a life insurance form and car insurance form using the bogus name and there phone number and now there call center will receive hundreds of calls from the insurance companies and that will drive them crazy..one thing a debt collector hates is his time to be wasted on the phone he isn't making any monies that way...
when they call you at work try to laugh at them and have some fun believe me when they realize that there not upsetting you or getting any monies from you the calls will stop..

These people keep calling my job, not once or twice but several times a day. Threatening people and saying I owe them money for a loan I never took out. However they have never called my home number I don't know how that is. I have asked them several times to provide me written documentation and they told me they could not provide that to me. What a scam.

These people keep calling me and harrasing meon my cell phone and at work.  It is a scam and I am tired of them calling.  I will get into trouble at work, if they do not stop.
