this a**hole thinks they are slick. I sent them a text by landline and am tracking them. I recommend everyone else do the same. It is most likely a sacm, I believe someone has tried to hack into my phone account and I'm pretty sure it is them. I keep getting texts from my account telling mw what my passwords are. So they are probably hacking into my phone. It is not that hard to do, it's happened to me before. If you track it and file a report with both the police and phone company they can create a file and locate the unwanted caller.

I got a call from this # and another which is almost identical, but ends in 4 rather them 5. The are claiming to be my bank, I have not given them any info... and when I call back its a recorded voice that says " we are unable to do that, goodbye"

I also got a call from this number. When I say hello,  it got cut.

I have had 2 calls. both from the same place but ending in different numbers.  When I called back on a land line it was Phoneware, Phonenet. Inc.  Full service call center for fortuine 500.  Clearly not.

Phonenet Inc. is going to get some phone calls now.

Your phone company could do a lot to help shield you from annoying telemarketers, but they don't. That's a choice they make. They also make a choice to spend lots of dough lobbying your government representatives in an effort to stop them from instituting measures that would protect you.

What can you do? Punish your service provider for misbehaving. Here's how I do it:

My land line is with a VOIP service. They give me many more services than the phone company (at a far lower price) including the option to block callers by caller ID. When this parasite called my land line, I simply added his ID to the others on my list of blocked callers. He's toast.

And what if he should call my cell number? I no longer hand out my cell number. I no longer answer my cell if someone calls it directly (that tells me it's a telemarketer calling). Instead, I now use a messaging service. In my case, it's the totally free and fantastic Google Voice. I only hand out my Google Voice phone number. Google Voice then routes calls to both my cell and landline - simultaneously and instantly. If a telemarketer gets my Google Voice phone number, I simply go to my Google Voice account and block them.

The phone company and big marketing firms have been sticking it to you for a long time. It's now time to return the favor.

760-526-8135 & 8134. They work for Phone Ware out of California.  They've pestered me everyday for one week now.  They state they are calling on behalf of Verizon (our businesses phone company), want to save us money & want to record our conversation. When I ask, "What company are you *working* for?", they respond, "Phone Ware" and quickly procede with their spiel. I've requested to be put on their DNC list, but they keep calling. I called Verizon to lodge a complaint but just got the run around. Per the FCC, businesses are NOT protected by the Do Not Call program; we are SOL! I will continue to keep my cool and just hang up on the scumbags...even if it is 100 times a day!

Rec'd call from this # spoke with female who stated she was with Time Warner Cable. I called TW Cable and was told that they do not farm solicitation calls. This person was fishing for information....shady!

Got a call from this number a week ago.  I answered, heard silence for about 2 seconds which tells me it's a telemarketer, and then hung up.  Received a call from the same number; didn't answer this time and the voicemail was just silence.

Received a call from 760-526-8135 on my cell phone.  A message was left on my voicemail from a man with a foreign accent saying that for more information I should call 1-800-255-7571.  Sounds too suspicious to me.

I get the same calls.  No message and if I pick up, no answer. call id SVCS?

This is a scam. It is not Time Warner, not Cox not a bank. I called Time Warner and they have no idea, but the are contacting their security. Call your local law enforcement and cable company and report it. Save a caller id entries for future reference

I revieve a call everyday from this number and have spoken to a person and asked to be put on the no call list and the refuse. Instead, they want me to listen to some BS and say it will take up to 30 days to be removed and i am never taken off the list. They continue to call none the less.

I just called it back and the message said it was a "California call center for Fortune 500 Companies. Dial 1 to ask for assistance, dial 2 to be added to the Do not call list." When I dialed 2 it said "to have your number removed, please state your name and phone number." I hung up.

Caller ID says SVCS.  12:57 p.m.  No one on other end.  Hangs up and picks back up.

They called lefdt no message. I called back and got a recording. Phone ware phone net inc. call center for fortune 500 companies. They want you to be put on "their" don not call list by leaving your name and number. No way! they will just call back and have my name ready.

I recieved many calls from this phone number, and they never left a message. I finally picked up when they had called aroun 8:30 pm and they asked if I was (my name & last name). I never said it was me, but I said who is this? Then they said they are from Time Warner and were calling about my business account. I do not even have a business account! So I said "what? What business account?" Then they hung up! I called time warner back and warned them about this. I gave them this number too so that they could take care of these people who are up to no good!!

Called back and got a message saying "Hi you've reached Phone Ware Phone Net Incorporated, your call center for Fortune 500 companies..."

So... sounds like it's telemarketing or something.

Karen from this number called today claiming to be calling from Verizon.  When told that I did not believe she was from Verizon and I would need to call Verizon to verify, she assured me that she really was calling on behalf of Verizon.  A call to Verizon confirmed that this company is definitely not authorized to represent them.

We were scammed in April because the caller asked if we were in charge of the telephone bill. If you say "YES" they bill your telephone/internet carrier monthly under "Value Link Plus." They called again today and we were ready for them!!!!! We need to spread the word to everyone we know and we need to keep calling their 800's and run up their cost!!!!
