I also have been getting many threatening calls from a man with a strong middle-eastern accent...He has identified himself with several different names(all very American names) and numerous titles...The only consistent thing he says is that I owe a payday loan and I am being sued,gonna be arrested etc.....LMAO!....I have never, nor will I ever take out a payday loan!....

they are really nervy. they have even called my work. my HR department manager says that a charles williams called and to call him  back. also now they are telling me that either i or my attorney is to get back to them. thay also call on different numbers. if you get a 916-395-0000 call, it is the same idiots.or a 877-775-6911. do not call them back. hopefully they give up.

Thanks to everyone for the posts I have been receiving these calls for months but they always leave me these messages of impending doom if I don't return their calls immediately. I never returned the calls cause it always sounded like it was a a scam but today I've been receiving calls from this number all morning and so I decided to look it up and I was not surprised to find it was a scam. As I was reading the posts I received another call from the number this time I answered it and as they started to threaten me I informed them that I knew that they were a scam and that I reported them to the FBI and the other links posted on this web site and the guy with a heavy accent started to cuss me out he called me a Mother@&$";!. I have been getting calls from this Mike guy also!

I have got many phone calls from this number claiming a pay day loan was deposited in my acct. at a bank I've never done business with.....Said if I don't pay them $1,048.00 that I will be arrested and have to pay $5,048.00....WHAT A BUNCH OF S_IT!!!!

I received calls from this company last year. Returned their calls only to be insulted and called ignorant when I asked for confirmation of debt to be mailed to me on the company letterhead. Thay finally quit after 3 weeks of calling my work and calling my mother and geeting her upset. Yesterday they started again - same company, different phone number. 11 calls in one day - 8 calls in 5 minutes. There needs to be some way to get rid of these nuisances.

omg i am glad i got on here i just recived a call from a guy named mike saying i owned on a payday loan he had the last 4 of my social and that convenced me but thank you to everyone i am glad that i had looked up the number thank you yall all saved me from going insane and yes he did have a middle eastern Indian accent

I received a call also from this number from a Christoff.  Stating the same thing.  I will go ahead and report it to the FTC and the IC3.  Thank you all for posting.

I got the same call but I called them back and told them that their goats were out and running wild and tearing up my yard and I was suing them and I'm gonna call back tomorrow and cuss these dirty sobs

This company has been calling me for months, each time from a different #. It always sounds like an eastern indian male, and he always has a new "American" name. I finally called them back after they threatened me with "allegations" and my attorney should call asap. I almost can't believe how unprofessional they sound, they can't even read the script well. Anyway, I called him today and he said he is from the California State of Investigation...haha...anyway, then I said "do I owe CA money"? He said no, you owe US Cash Advance money...which is impossible. Then I called him out on it being a scam and that I haven't received anything from their company in the mail or via email, I told him his # showed up on here and that I think he is scamming, and if I owed money, how much and where do I send it...he hung up. I think that should be proof enough that this company is a scam.

Wow!!   I am glad I looked this number up with google.  You all helped me ease my tension with my situation.  I recieved the same phone call from a gentleman stating I was in some trouble and had federal charges against me.  I also came close to falling for the scam.

Got a call today telling me that I am being sued for a payday loan that I defaulted on. But would not tell me any information on who it was. Thick Middle-Eastern accent claiming his name was Mike Robinson.
Told me if I don't send a email stating all of my information and stating what I will pay up that I will be in court in San Deigo paying $$$3000.00. Almost had me, then I decided to check the number on google and this is what I come up with. I am so glad people will post stuff like this so other people can know.

Legit collectors per section 809 of the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf *must* tell you at initial contact, or send you paperwork within 5 days of initial contact, the following:
1. $amount of debt,
2. name of the current creditor (which may differ from the original creditor who might have sold your debt),
3. a statement that that debt will be assumed to be valid unless you dispute in writing within 30 days,
4. a statement that that if you do dispute in writing within 30 days, the collector must mail you written verification of the debt,
5. a statement that if you ask the collector in writing within 30 days, the collector must send you the name and address of the original creditor if it's different from the current creditor.
If you don't get the 5 disclosures, orally or in writing (you do not have to ask for it, the FDCPA requires it), treat the collector like you would any SCAMMER. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

Received called from an Attorney Mike Roberts from CA claiming that I owed money from a Payday loan.  When I asked for Bar# he got aggitated an told me are you going to settle or go to court.  I told them I will wait for papers being that I work for a goverment department court system.  He then  hang up on me.  He called again and at that time I told him that I filed a police report and to contact the officer handling the case gave him the police report number.  Hang up again.

I have been getting calls from this number for a few days now.  I think they changed their number several times, especially after they realized I found out they were trying to scam me.  They tell me it's about a payday loan place that is all set to sue me if I don't comply with their demands.  They even called yesterday and said that I need to be in court today to face the charges against me.  They called again about 5 minutes ago with the same thing.  It's always someone (a male usually) with a middle-eastern (Indian) accent.

united law services scam...changes their number frequently..says your in a big legal mess and good luck. will call all day and hang up on you frequently just to call back. I reported the numbers to ftc.
