They were very nasty to me when I called them back they said my husband two co workers and I were going to be " screwed up come Monday ". The man on the phone could barely speak English. He said we were being accused of 3 counts of fraud. The guy was a total fool.

Here's the real deal on these calls.

There's a guy in California called Ryon Gambill who is a known debt harasser. He has had a bunch of company names, such as Marauder Corporation, Check Protocol Services, Collection Protection Systems and Bill Collector in a Box. Note that he likes the initials CPS as he can send that on call id and people think it is Child Protection Services.

He has a criminal record and outstanding arrest warrants. Some day Dog the Bounty Hunter will grab him.

He scammed a couple of pay day loan places out of their databases. He also gets your files from Experian, Transunion and Equifax credit reporters.

But now that you know who he is you can report him and complain.

i recieved a call  today  threatining  me  with  jail  time  if i  did  not  repay  3000 dollars  that  i  did  not  even  borrow.  i am  a  single  disabled  mom.  and  the  idea  of  jail  scared  the  crap  out  of  me. these  people are  the  worst  kind  of creeps!

The man called said he was Matt Ramirez I called back told me to contact my Attorney had 3 counts of bank fraud informed him I did not know his company asked for the pay day loan company number he told me to F*** myself.

They called me as well.  These people are scam artists.  I have already reported them to my local police department and am contacting the FBI and the Attorney General's Office early next week.  They knew my social security number, physical address and place of employment.  Also, please notify your banking institution and place a lock on your social security number with the 3 major credit bureaus.  Time is working against them and they will be caught when more people continue to file reports of fraud and harassment against them.

The Indian fellow identified himself as James Brown.  He was trying to extort $501 dollars for a payday loan that I never took out.  He threatened to have me arrested at my work place if I didn't pay up.

I just received a call from this same phone number... I was really upset by the fact that they stated that I would be arrested tomorrow... Two armed police would be at my door etc.. For a $500.00 loan from quick cash.... Nonsense... Never took out a loan for them... When I stated that they can send me the information in the mail and I will look into it.... They did not want to hear that.. They could supposedly tell me how much the loan was for and from which company, but could not tell me when the loan application was submitted. Nor deposited... Nothing... so I knew it was a scam... He then stated that I would see tomorrow when I am in jail... I said.. I have God on my side and no weapons formed against me shall prosper... I am glad that my spirit told me to look online and put the phone number into a search... We can only pray for people who do jobs such as these and try to scam people out of money... God Help them.... I did not fall for it.... Nor will I worry about it...  All the best....

They called saying I took out a loan for 796.92 and that if I did not pay they were going to arrest me for internet fraud.  They had no information as to the date the loan was taken out, when supposedly deposited money in my bank account, etc.  They said I had a loan from Quick Cash which is bogus.  Never did this.  They were very threatening and abusive on the phone.

I received a call from 0000 on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, and the man whom was on the phone had a very heavy Indian (?) accent. He stated that he was calling from the Cyber Crimes department on the behalf of an attorney's office. When I asked him for the name of the office and what allegations were made against me, he told me to call 760-651-2169. So, I called that number and got another man with a heavy accent whom told me that I would be arrested, sued, and something else but I could barely understand him. He told me that I had received a pay-day loan, and that I did not pay it back. (Of course, I have not received a payday loan.)  The sheer nature of this call had me upset simply because the man I spoke with had my social security number, home address, and he knew my place of employment.  If it wasn't for him having my information, I would not have taken him seriously. Due to the fact that he did have all of this personal information, I conducted a google search of the telephone number given to me and found this site.

yep! just got call from "unvailable" number and it sounded like a woman?? with a very heavy foriegn accent...said that it was a time sensitive matter in which i MUST respond immediately and that if i didn't that she "wished me luck as to to how the events would unfold for me" wow!!! whatever! i almost called back simply because it did scare me but i decided to reverse look up the number they left for me and this is where i ended up and after reading what i've read i'm more mad than scared now...i have no deliquent loans to my knowledge and even if i did i wouldn't think that the FIRST attempt to collect a debt would be quite as dramatic as this woman made it seem!!! oh and btw, this woman stated her name was SUE CHANG! LOL like i said, it was a foriegn accent but not ASIAN! LOLOLOL accent did not match the name...i will update as this "unfolds" for me....best wishes to everyone...it's a shame that people get thier kicks and make thier livings off of innocent scared people who are trying to be "law abiding citizens"

i have received 3 harassing calls from a Paul Jeffrey at "the crimes unit" at 760-651-2169. he is stating that i have to pay $500 today or i, my 9-yr old daughter, and my brother will be arrested and taken to court on monday. he said they will send officers to my work and my moms address. i told him i'll be waiting. as i told him he is crap and scamming people he got real irate on the phone. i asked to speak with his manger and he hung up on me. i plan on harassing him with phone calls as he has done to me. every hour on the hour. let's see how he likes it!

I requested them to fax the info to me, and if the dept is mine I would be more than happy to take care of the action. He stated that he could not, he stated that I would be arrested on monday and taken to court. I wonder what he would say if I tell him I have an attorney. I have called twice today, and was given two different company names. I am thinking of calling to see if I give fake name and number what will happen.

He said he was calling from the cyber crimes office and the man was very very nasty. He was yelling and everything its a shame how they try to take people money

I just got a call from 760-651-8169 stating that his name is Paul Jeffrey and to get my attorney and do not ignore the call. The called from phone number 0000 twice and unknown and the 9163950000. Actually, he sounded like he was laughing or snickering. Did not call back..just ignored the call.

They claim they are the legal department of some payday loan company, however, I have never taken out a loan with the company they state they are with. First time they called was on 12/06/2010 stating they are with fast cash payday loans. I contacted fast cash and they do not find a record of me. On 1/28/2011 I recieved a call again stating they were with Quick Cash and I would have to be in court on monday, however I did not take out a loan with quick cash, and have not been served.  They would not say what company they are with, but said they are part of cyber crimes.
