I'm not sure what the man was calling about but was yelling in the phone about have my attorney contact him or deal with the consequences that unfold??? Very heavy foreign accent. I did call back but got his voicemail and I will not leave a message. I'd prefer to talk to him directly.

This is some kind of debt collection scam.  They have heavy Asian Indian accents and keep referring to a complaint that has been filed with them for an outstanding payday loan for Advance Cash USA.  I don't have any payday loans from them or any outstanding payday loans with anybody.  I believe they got my info from when I did apply for a payday loan on the internet.  Now that they have my info, they are scamming for money using scare tactics.  When I questioned them, they became frustrated that they weren't scaring me and hung up.  No legitimate debt collector would hang up.  Total Scam.

I RECIEVED A CALL ON 1/21/11 STATING THAT I WOULD BE ARRESTED ON 1/25/11 IF I DID NOT CALL THEM BACK, WHEN I CALLED BACK THERE WAS A VOICE MAIL THAT WAS FULL, IT CONCERNS ME THAT THEY TOLD THAT IF I DIDNT CALL BACK THEY WOULD COME AND ARREST ME AT WORK. THEY ALSO CALLED MY SISTER AND TOLD HER THE SAME THING,AND SHE ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL WITH HTN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

This person called and told me I was a suspect in California.  Since I have not been in Calif for more that 40 years this seems strange.  I told him I was calling the police.

The time is coming when we will wake up and realize that very few Asian Indians are the well educated ones we keep reading about.  Most Indians are scammers.  They are workshy but are always on the lookout for the chance.  They will run up huge debts, they will leverage property, they will at the same time be welfare dependant and in the end destroy American culture and infrastructure.  It doesnt suprise me that they telephone call and in effect blackmail people into handing over money.  They are a nation of crooks who live in a slum.  Instead of coming to USA and running their scams, they should try to fix their own country.  Truth is that they dont have the work ethic or immagination to fix their country, so they take advantage of easy going Americans.  We will regret the day we let so many come to our country.

I too have been threatened and harrassed many times a day by this number about a payday loan, which not only do I not recall but if I did take one out it well was over 10yrs ago when I last had a checking account, beyond any California statute of limitations. I was told my name & social security number were going to be involved in a lswsuit and I'd be served papers any day and court is this Friday (I'm waiting). The lady told me to have my "criminal" attorney call her when I said I'd be taking the matter to an attorney. When I stated I would attend court and attempted to get the courthouse info, the lady said don't worry about that because the "investigative unit" would pick me up and "escort" me to court. She insisted that I wouldn't be allowed to drive myself. I told her I was not going ANYWHERE with ANYBODY, I'd drive myself as I live in California too.
The lady who speaks clearer English told me the company was called "Legal Network", but when I called the number back after she hung up on me because I wanted court info to attend court, it was answered by a man with a heavy accent who said the company name is "Law Group of California". A goggle of "Legal Network" brings a legal job placement agency, lol. And the google of Law group of California brings "Consumer Law Group of California" who has a whole page concerning this company using their name to attempt to commit fraud. The REAL Consumer law Group states they are working with authorities about this matter. I encourage everyone to record these calls and also contact the REAL Consumer Law Group of California  on the "619" number from their website, I'm going to do so first thing tomorrow morning... Good Luck to us all from these vultures who are trying to prey on us while our state and its people are already deeply in debt.

This is a scam! Dont fall for it! He says His name is Jason and the Firm is Law Offices! I have left several messages for him and He want call me back now! Lol

I have also received phone calls from this number several times today.  I live in NC.  They even called my work.  I have told them many, many time not to call me, my work or anyone else.  They will stop for a while and then they start calling back again.  I have reported this number to the California Investigative Unit and to the FCC.  I really wish someone could stop this SCAM.

I have had the same call from this number and I told him to bring all the Law Enforcement he could.

There should be away to stop this Bull Sh-t . I hate being threatened!

i just got a call from that same number just now....i immediatly took it to my lawyer and we called it and first the guy tried to have a middle eastern accent and when my laywer told him he was full of s*** his accent and tone changed....funniest thing i have heard....these people are a joke, they can't go out and make their own money so they have to cheat people that do work. here's a clue buddy just in case ur reading our post don't tell me your from the ohio investigation unit when ur number is a california code and i live in texas....how much dumber can you get.

These people are such scammers.  Its a shame how they are trying to take hard earned money from people.  Received a call from someone at this number stating that I owed some kind of loan but couldn't provide me with any information but had all of my information.  All they say is that they work for a crimes investigation unit.  If you worked for a crime investigation unit I am pretty sure since you have my work number you have my work address and you would come and get me.  No police officer is going to call and do this.  NO officer

I just recieved a call from this number with same script that you all have gotte, Im freaking out though because this person has all my information as well as the name of my boyfriend, I immeditaly called the bank and froze all accounts..Can you offer any other information on what else I should do?

Thats funny I just started geting the calls also from this number. I live in NC and hes says the police are coming to pick me up for money that I owed. I told him to pick me up and I'll ride to Cali. I need a vacation anyways.

This prick has been calling me for damn near a year now, over two jobs, telling me the same lie "you are going to go to jail of you don't pay me $500 by 5pm today"..... I have already reported him to the California Investigative Unit, because i am sick of this harassment...

This number has been calling me for the past few weeks ten times a day.telling me i am going to jail for a loan i never took out with usa cash.....and i have a court date and i will need  a laywey , i have never took out money from paydayloans at all,,,
