Got a letter for National Publication Billing Service, Inc.. The letter gave their address as 1525 S. Escondido, CA., 1-760-688-0112. Called 12/23/08 to reject offer of Sport Fishing and 8 weeks later still no refund.
They have a new address, 6965 El Camino Real, Suite 105-192, Carlsbad, CA. The suite number looks very suspect, like maybe a mail drop box (a la Mailboxes Etc.).
Call the number today to leave a message ask where my refund is, their voice mail is broken and you end up in a voice message endless loop.

Received a letter saying my Fishing & Hunting News would be delayed due to their over-busy clearing houses. (Fishing and Hunting News went out of business and this company has nothing to do with them so this is a blatant lie). The letter said if I do nothing, I will automatically start getting "Sport Fishing" magazine as a replacement for my late Fishing and Hunting News. It gave a phone number 760-688-0112, and said to leave a message and they would return my call. They want to handle all my subscription needs! This is fraud and a total scam to sell subscriptions.

This is a scammer company that is trying to bleed off customers from Popular Science over to Popular Mechanics. Popular Mechanics is done by a different publisher. Popular Science has nothing to do with the company at this number, which is listed as "Subscriber Billing Services, LLC" at 122 North 2nd Street, Suite A-403, Phoenix, AZ 85004"
Popular Science says that they have nothing to do with this company and that my subscription cannot be switched.
