I just got a call. Didn't catch the name, but he stated he was with the state attorney office. He had the last 4 of my social security number. I could not understand with his accent. He said something about legal proceedings and being arrested. He even asked if I had an attorney. When I asked what it was about since I have not received any paperwork about being sued. He stated that he could not give out information as a paralegal that I needed to call another # (760-651-2392) to talk to his superior. I tried calling the number that came up on my phone along with the one he gave me...just beeps when it is answered. Must be a scam but I am upset after hearing the word arrest used.

WHAT A JERK!  Same scenario as everyone else but I am intelligent enough to realize that the area code this dude is calling from is not from my state and I have never lived anywhere else.  Top it off with the fact that I was a foreclosure paralegal and did collections for 15 years and you had a non-believer.

Yes happen to me last week ....I called the hotline but nobody picks up .....you call and press 1 for apply then someone will pick up ....tell them you never approve a loan with them and tell them to take back the loan ....thats what I did and they took it back

Did any of you people sign an online form for a payday loan and have a deposit dropped in your account under the name HYDRA IV

I recently filled out a form for a pre-approval check for a payday loan and a company called HYDRA FUND IV dropped $200.00 into my account without my consent. I had to put my information into the form that is the same information that you all describe they are giving you such as Name, SSN, Employer, and they have even called my employer. I had received a ton of calls from payday loans and have been unsubscribing from them all.

I keep getting calls from 760-689-9640 saying that its urgent that I call this number back because he ( Kevin Robinson) cannot give me the information needed about the lawsuit against me... HA load of BS

When I asked which State's Attorney, the caller stumbled on his words then stated that I needed to call his senior attorney for information on what to do about the warrant or I would be arrested.
I suggested he was not an attorney and that he was lying. He stumbled again and said his name was John Anderson, (Matrix) hahaha,,, (calling me at 5:30 am) and I must call his senior attorney or else the sheriff would be at my house within an hour to arrest me.
When I asked him what the warrant was for, he could not answer and I told him he was lying, but if he was legit, I would take a call from his supposed senior attorney but I was intending to sue him for an attempt to scam me.
He began telling me that he was not lying because he knew my social security number and place of employment. I reminded him of how easy it is to get that info and warned him of the consequences of scamming people, but I would not stand for it.
When I informed him that I would pursue legal recourse on him and his company, he hung up on me.

This "Daniel white" called my work line and my cell shouting at me saying I'm being sued and is sending smone to arrest me in 30 minutes...I work for a law enforcement agency....I told him I don't have any payday loans and he began cussing at me. Then he hung up on me. Since then I've received two blocked calls has anyone else received calls from them that are blocked that come up "unknown"?

Hubby was called about 2 wks ago from this number, and the caller said they were from our state's Attorney General's office and he was going to be arrested for fraud, etc. He called me, freaking out, so I called our ATG's office and the lady there assured me it was a fraud.

We've since filed a fraud alert with all 3 credit bureaus (you can do this quickly and easily online at www.alert.equifax.com and they submit it to the other 2 credit bureaus). We watch our banking acct online daily and have alerted our bank, too. We have plans to change our bank acct, however hubby's work hours don't mesh well with our bank's hours, so I'm just being diligent.

Thing is, they called the house today, using 215-297-3080, this time saying they were from the State of PA Attorney's office and only told me that after I pressed the issue. He fumbled and tried to change it to our state and I called him on it, told him he was full of crap, lol! He told he he guessed I'd see when my husband gets arrested and hung up on me. Pffffft!

What I want to know is what is the purpose of this scam?? Are they just doing this for kicks or are they going to eventually get around to asking for money??  Has anyone ever let it go that far?

Got a call from the same exact number about 5 minutes ago. When I told him I didn't have a loan and never received any money he threatened to have me fired and put in jail. He knew my social also. I told him I was not paying any money but will get an attorney to look into this BS. He got angry and called me a stupid b**ch. smh. What do people get out of scamming people?

It's the call back number of some call center... people with an India accent that will call and call and call... 7-8 times a day talking about a lawsuit/loan that have no business calling my number. Complete and total harassment. Number should be turned off!

they messed with the wrong dude they called me i called back cuz to me lawsuits are a serious what they do not know is that i am a computer programer and i can find them with just a click in my compouter i have involved the law because i dont need being harrassed.

I got the same phone call for a Fancy and I called back like an idiot to tell them they had the wrong number. What do these people get out of this? Unbelievable. The indian man said okay, you won't get any more calls to this number without taking my number and hung up on me. I called him 10 times until he answered and yelled at him for being so rude. I have a mind to keep calling him just to harrass him, see how he likes it.

Call reason was verifying if Nancy Morales was at our number. Stated they were from state's attorney office but would not identify the State.

Its a scam. Dont listen to them at all. Just tell them to stop calling you. Do not give them info about you. They have tried with me numerous times now.

This number has called me numerous times and they tell me the same thing every time.  they say that I am being sued over a loan and I will go to jail. They called me a bi*** on the phone. what kind of so called business does that. They are just trying to get you to give them your info. DONT DO IT! I kept telling them I didnt understand what they were even saying to me and they just kept saying my name.  I read the other comments that are on here and the name they were telling me was Mike White. haha. Also if you tell them that you want to contact the person that is so called sueing you, they tell you that they will transfer you to them and then you get transferred to another person who doesnt speak english.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUM AND THEY WAS SAYING THAT I HAD CHARGES PRESSED AGAINST ME FOR NOT PAYING ON A PAYDAY LOAN AND HIS NAME WAS DANIEL. I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND ANYTHING HE WAS SAYING AND THEY WAS ALSO TELLING ME GOOD LUCK ON GOING TO COURT AND THEY HOPE I GOT A LAWYER. IT SCARED ME AT FIRST BUT I CALLED THE BBB AND THEY GAVE ME A NUM TO GO AND FILE A COMPLAINT.
