Some complimentary dinner, golf and stay. I am guessing it is the old tried and true, listen to us beat you up for several hours, and then if you can stand it, and still not buy anything...we might let you still have the prize. You know how it goes.

They called trying to sell 2 for 1 dinning at a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, a friend gave them my number for some reason.

I answered phone and a male speaker asked "Is this [a first name]? I replied: " Who is this?" Male speaker again asked "Is this [a first name]" I again asked "Who is this?" He hung up.

I guess you people DONT LISTEN very well. I bought their program and love it. I paid basically for the night stay, that is about what is equal to the year membership price. And I get 50% off my meals when ever I dine there. Plus I received other certificates also included. This program is designed to bring in the local business.

Max called offering a free room and 50% off dinner at Paradise Point in San Diego.
He said they are targeting local people to get more business.

I got a call from them identifying themselves to be calling from a local resort but when i called them back they answer the phone differently. This is a SCAM if they cant even correctly identify where they are REALLY calling from.

I got a call from them also. I ended up here and saw your post. I made a couple calls to check it out and it is legit! I asked the right questions. They handle hotels all over the place. It's to bring in local business to the hotels. Great program, I got one & LOVE IT!!

Calling from the San Diego area, but claims to be from a hotel in Central Virginia where our office is located. Quality of the line wasn't very good and the caller was not very professional. (I gave our standard greeting, he asked for our top-level executive by first name without saying hello.) Too sketchy for my comfort.

If a stranger calls and offers you a good deal, *NEVER* accept it especially if they say offer's only good now. Always get names of participating hotels, casinos, etc., and a callback number and hang up. Then find contact info for said hotels, etc., from *independent* sources (do not use numbers supplied by the stranger), you call them and verify these good deals exist. If these places/deals don't exist, it's a scam. If they do and you want to buy, then call the stranger back, and credit cards are safer than debit cards. Beware shills have been known to post fake positive I-had-a-great-deal comments on 800notes.

I gave friends numbers that also go to paradise point Now my friend got one from Sycuan casino and gave my number. It is legit and great deals like 50 bucks to gamble plus free nights and 50 off food etc.

Well, It is strange that it is from San Diego and I am here in Canada receiving calls from the same number... they never leave a message! Wierd...

I didn't pick up the call but checked the number and ended up here. I do know what this is for now and it's legit. My buddy signed up and checked out the deal go make sure it wasn't a scam before he referred me to them. The deal for him was for paradise point resort here in san Diego and it's a pretty good deal. Take it for what it's worth just trying to help because I like these forums that tell what unknown numbers are.

I received a voice mail message from a caller identifying themself from the Long Beach Marriott. No other details were offered such as the nature of the call. It seemed strange, so I googled the number and was directed to this website. I do not intend to call them back now.

SCAMMERS!!!!!- call originated from San Diego (760). Caller said he was calling from a local hotel in our city and wanted to extend an invitation blah blah blah... You could tell it was a boiler room call by all the noise in the background.
