just got a call from this number as well, didn't answer but googled the number after and this came up. i'm in calgary too.

I got the same call but didn't recognize it. But I heard cell numbers can be added to the "do not call list" in Canada. I am in Ottawa.

Got a call from this number today did not answer it as I did not recognize it and was curious about it did some research, they use an automated dialing ssystem using just the area code, it's a scam, watch out!

this number 7608909875 called me yesterday but didn't answer it upon dialing back, I can also hear the music. I find this weird as my cell is strickly used for work:(. looks like all the telemarketers moved their service in the states as we have a do not call lists here in canada.

I got a call from this number but didnt pick it up after I quickly checked the area code (california are code).

I got a call from this number on my cell on Jan 12th, 2009.  I heard nothing, just dead air for about 5 to 10 seconds and then it hung up.  I'm a 403 Alberta area code.

I got the same call frm the number, but did not pick. they have also been using a 604 vancouver area code. I haven't been picking these calls and i think my number is now being recycled to another company, or one that looks like it

They call during lunch hour so don't pick- Everyone knows you may be at work/school and wont call you at that hour either.

If you haven't been giving your number out, I suggest you ask your service provider to insert a call block for any of these numbers. I'll give it a try myself.

I got a call from this number on my cell today, at around 11:20 am.  I'm from Victoria, B.C.  Didn't bother picking up the phone to answer, and they left no message.

I received a call from 760-890-9874 @ 11:50am this morning.  I did not pick it up.

I got a call from them (Ottawa).  I suspect Facebook sold them my number. Anyone else make the mistake of putting their number on Facebook?

Today, January 19, 2009, I received a call from 760-890-9874 on my (rarely used) Ottawa-based (Ontario) cell phone at 15:30. I wasn't able to pick up, but thought I'd Google the number and see what I find. Of course, your comments inform me.

By the way, I sent a text message to their land line messaging system. A simple "Do not call me." should hit the spot. I will update you on anything that may arise out of my "cold text". Especially, since legally, they are screwed if they contact me again.

I don't think it's Facebook. I didn't even post that number.
I have never given that cell number out to anyone. (Rarely-used cell) So, to get calls from scammers just tells me SOLO (operated by BELL Canada) has sold me out. Their own customer.

Same thing for me in Vancouver.

Glad I didn't after reading commnets here.  
Will drop by their location next time I'm in California to harass them.  
Also will give out this phone number for other telemarketers to contact them for years to come.

Got a call on my cell in Toronto, just as I was putting my kids to bed...didn't recognize the number. I Googled it just now...so glad this site popped up as I have lots of friends in San Diego area and it would have bugged me to have missed a call from them.

They called me today but I didn't pick up cause I didn't recognize it. I'm in Kelowna BC, about 3 1/2 hours away from Vancouver.

Called me on my cell at 1:30pm, answered and got dead air. Cell company can't block number either.. according to them it doesn't exsist
