i get these calls all the time and i tell them my attorney will be contacting them, and they stop for a day. the police keep telling me it' s a scam so now i have caller id and ignore

Okay well I have been getting calls like this as well. The first time, the caller stated they were from US Legal Investigators and if I didn't call them back that I would be charged with fraud and criminal activity.  The male that left me a message had an Indian accent and called from 772-497-0095.

The next call I got was from another male with an Indian accent calling from United Nations Legal Department at 760-582-0305 advising me of the same thing. I would go to jail if I didn't cooperate.  Okay whatever.

Now I am getting a calls from State Investigations at 760-932-2732.  This is ridiculous.  My companies corporate investigators are on it as they have been harrassing me at work.  It also seems I am not the only employee that has been harrassed.

I recieved a call from 760-932-2732 today. I answered pretending to take a message for the person they were looking for (me). He claimed his name was Michael John extension # 1221from the State Investigation Criminal Department (or something like that.) He claims that I had a criminal case against me and I needed to call back asap before something was downloaded in California by 6pm tonight. I couldn't understand what the "something" was because of his accent.  He gave me all the info on the person he was calling for. First of all, it is illegal for ANYONE to disclose any information to anyone other than the person its pertaining. Second of all, if there was a criminal case, they wouldn't be contacting you by phone. I'm almost certain you would have been arrested by now. Third, I don't live in California nor have I EVER visited California.  This people are IDIOTS!! It's kind of entertaining actually. Next time they call, which they will, I have something for them!!

Very rude caller claiming  there was a class action suit against me. They had my name, full social and also who I bank with. This caller was ruthless to say the least!

I had gotten this number from another CA number that was calling me.  He ("Max Moffre") said that this number belonged to a US payday cash.  I called it from my house number as I was on my cell number with him and SURPRISE.. he picked up and said hello.  The man was very rude and highly threatening, I alerted the local police and they called and the calls have stopped.  Stay away from these people!!!

Received various calls from these fools throughout the year.  Of course it frightened me because I have taken out payday loans in the past (bad mistake) and someone ovbiously hacked into my information because the most frightening part is that they have my SS # and who knows what else.  They have contacted me at work and at home.  They never provide much information, which is why I never thought it was completely legitemate, but I was somewhat initially frightened by it all and yes, he told me if I pay $300.00 he would cancel the warrant for my arrest.  I wish there was a clear cut way to find these people and arrest their as%@%.  This is so frustrating to me, but it truly makes you regret doint anything on line that requires your personal inforamtion.  During one message that was left, I even heard this idiot laughing in the background which made me realize then that it was a scam.  Scam or not, these fools have my personal information and that doesn't sit well with me at all.  Beware and be careful everyone...PLEASE!

I have also been receiving calls, only they come from a 0000 number but leave messages telling me that they are with the State Investigation Department from Bridgeport, CA and that my social security number has been blacklisted and there is a case against me. Of course I was worried so i called back at the number they left which is the 760-932-2732 number and I speak to supposedly a few different people who amazingly all sound the same with heavy accents, saying I owe a US Speedy cash money and so on and so on and that i need to verify my home address so the Sheriffs can come to my house and arrest me. Thought it was sketchy at same time did not want anything to do with Sheriff dept and so i tell them so he says let me speak to my attorney here and clicks over for 5 seconds! then comes back on saying i have 2 options..1 to pay $200 today to freeze my arrest or 2 pay a settlement amount for $500 and the warrant will be taken away. at this point im figuring out some the info he gave me about my loan isnt adding up so i tell him i need to call back he replies with ok call back asap to get this taken care  of or we will have to issue the arrest warrant. I know i dont deserve scamming but i suppose this is one of the consequences from applying for loans over the internet. Also the two names that were left on the messages were Jason White and Greg Mackenzie, which is sooo not believable, i just hopes this helps so they dont sucker or freak out anymore people!

932.2732 stating that if i don't reply to their phone call that someone will come to my address and take me to the courthouse. the guy is using the name MIKE and also a PAUL WHITE,but i know its pretty much the same guy bc of the voice and accent.he says he is with the criminal investigations of california.i had applied for a cash loan on line and he hacked in and got all my info so I AM WARNING EVRYONE,DO NOT EVER DO THAT!! LESSON WELL LEARNED FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i changed bank accounts and everything.i called it back and a lady with a foreign accent answered and just says hello and not  as a professional would do with a investigators office!  BEWARE PEOPLE!

I recieved a call stating that I commited a serious bank fraud transaction and that they knew where I lived and that I used my friend as a refrence that i was going to serve jail time unless I paid 3 million dollars. I am reporting this to the police this is crazy and I recieve a call from Mr Cameron White and a lady with a very thick indian accent then I recieved a email from a guy asking if I was dead that the Governm,ent was told to release # million dollars to a Mr. Obo to pay for my funeral I am reporting this to the government because this is obviously identity fraud and this is taking place over seas and this is not cool.

Whoever wrote this sounds like the callers speak, the ones who claim to be from some legal department.  Sorry, but your English doesn't seem very good.

Even i got the call stating the same things but looking to this information i havent taken much serious about this but after some day i got a legal notice from the Department which made me in very serious financial trebles. To my surprise i applied for car loan and the loan is been rejected because the social has been reported from this department after all i went to the worst part this department also filed a law suit against this 800notes.com so if you receive this kind of calls just check your bank statement and than take a decision.

Yes, I have been receiving telephone calls from this telephone number 7609322732. I can not understand why? Is this a scam number? In the past I have already received many different calls relating to the same information that I received through infomation with a scam according to the district attorney's office. Here is what the woman leaves on the telephone recorder. That I am to call number 7609322732 back in regards to  three frauds. This is a state investigation. Of course they say you will pay money back and get jail time. All I can say in my defense is that if anyone takes the time to look at my records in the State of Mississippi, they will see that I have never been in no trouble like that or for anything else. I am as clean as they come. I can not undersstand why this woman is harrasing me to this day!! Please give me some advise!!

Oh my goodness.  The same person, Cameron White, had called me also saying that I had owed this loan and and that they were going to charge me with wire fraud, check fraud, and theft by payday loan.  It was believable.  They say they work for a lawyer by the name of Marcus Gardner.  They told me to write a letter saying if I don't send this money I am authorizing them to press charges against me.  I was so spooked about it and instead of having my LAWYER nephew look into this, I sent the letter and I did make two payments totally $300.  Well I spoke to my lawyer nephew and he told me that it didn't make sense and that they could sue me but they couldn't press charges and they normally won't press charges against you unless the amount is $2500 or more.  Also be aware of this number 518-935-2862 x1322 which is the number for this so-called Cameron White.  The other number is 760-932-2732 and a person named "Jeff", which sounds a lot like "Cameron White" is there.  I should have known better but I let my guard down.  They gave me confirmation #'s and everything.  They said they were from the American Credit Bureau too.  I'm giving this information in hopes that it will help someone else.
