I received a call from "Officer Shawn Martin" with a very thick accent from the "Department of Law and Investigation" about a serious issue against me.  This is the same SCAM that has been calling me for weeks now.  He says that if I do not call him back at 760-933-8136 then there will be more charges against me.

Rec'd a call at work from a guy with a strong Indian accent.  He told me that cashnet was suing me and that charges were being filed against me for fraudulant check writing, all types of charges and that either I could go to court or pay out of court costs.  He told me that he was a investigator with a company of lawyers.  He also said that the goverment had put a lock on my SSN and that if I did not cooperate with him that I would loose my job, my home, etc.  He also said to expect the police at my house or at my job by Monday.  Today is Friday.  Basically he knew everything about me, and scared the living crap outa me at my job.  I tried to ask questions but he just kept mumbling the same things over again.  I asked him well, if i'm being sued than how come i've never rec'd anything in the mail from this company.  Eventually, I told him that I was totally confused, as I've never had a loan with cashnet and this was totally crazy.  He seemed to get flustered after that, and told me well, expect the police at your home Monday since you refuse to cooperate and since this is crazy.  He hung up on me after that.  I was telling one of my coworkers about the call, and that I was freaking out and she went and googled the number that the guy called from.  Thats when I found this site.  Yes, this is super scary since they knew all my personal information, including my SSN.  I am definatly going to alert my job, and bank to this.  Thanks for the information.

Got a call from this place said they were going to sue me for a pay day loan I never got. He keeps calling me at work wanted my cell number I said no. Said he had a class action law suit against me. I am really getting anoyed by these people. They need to stop tring to rip people off

Some cashnet site that I never signed up for that spams my email inbox and I get fraudulent calls from. Cashnet is a wide fraudulent company that incorporates a vast network of small payday loan and very low scum scam websites. It as a whole has made me need to drop an email account because of spam overload and I almost want to get a new phone number because of spam phone calls. This paticular one has gotten on the verge of illegal(7609338136). I recieved a call from a "investigator" who would apparantly be a "lawyer" if I failed to pay back a loan that was issued to me. His name was "Robin Wilson" and he came from a india call center. He said that he would press tons of charges against me if I didn't file out of court by sending his client money. I told him I would need proof in the mail. He said it would be in the mail monday(today is friday... funny It takes one business day to get mail halfway across the united states.) I have never recieved a "payday loan" and told him that. Then I told him that I save bank statements upon which he hung up on me. Still waiting for "legal documents in the mail" but not holding my breath. Its laughable but I feel sorry for people that might fall for this so I am posting a warning here and I will be finding the number to report fraud to the federal government. "Robin" will hopefully see what a real criminal investigator looks like.
