I'm receiving calls from this number on my fax.  I called and they answered, but wanted my fax number to "take me off their list".  Right.  When I told them I would not give it to them because they already had it, they'd immediately get defensive and angry and tell me to stop wasting their time.  I'd call back and another person would answer.  One lady would just answer the phone by saying "yes".  I'd ask what they are selling.  "We are not selling anything". I'd then ask, "what is your service - maybe I'm interested" and she'd say, "We don't provide a service", then I'd finally ask why they are calling and she'd again tell  me to stop wasting their time.  I'd call back again, and I'd just be put on hold (music on hold- they are making money somewhere).  My fax number will ring all hours of the day and night from this number.  What complete slime they are.  Why can't scum like this be stopped?

As I continue to research this number, I am not having much luck, but did want to update with what I have found so far.  According to the web site <http://www.callercomplaints.com> this is a "spoofed" number.  I do not know how reliable this feature of their site is.  Other resources have identified it as a Powertel (cell phone) number, while others identify it as a Columbus, GA number.

Any ideas or constructive input would be welcome.

I've been trying to get an identity on this caller.  I'm about ready to call this a scam.  

Here is why:

You can't call them back (they also use the number 762.208.4216) .  Calls to either number variously result in an immediate disconnect or rollover to a busy signal.

I can find no evidence that the company exists.  Based on the phone number they would seem to be in the Columbus, GA area, but no luck looking for them ANYWHERE in the 762 area.  A search at the Georgia Secretary of State's web site reveals a few corporations with similar names (some of them dissolved) but nothing which seems like a good match.

In any case, if they are monitoring 800notes (as many of these jokers seem to do) and they are by some chance legit, they would do well to step up and provide their address and what sort of business they are.  A web site would also be nice.

The phone here that keeps calling is verizon wireless and like I told the man, if you call you people could at least answer so we no who it is calling.......

Receive calls from this number several times each week. No one responds when answered and no message is ever left when phone goes to answering machine.

Direct Source - says they are a debt collector with a debt that was not ours.
