I also received a call from "Julie" at First Financial this afternoon.  I did some digging and found their contact information:

First Financial
805 Meander Ct, Medina MN 55340
Toll Free 1-800-678-7610
Local 763-231-8120 • Fax 763-231-8129

Give them a call.  Tammy is the head of HR.  I'm sure if enough people contact them about this, they'll change their recruiting tactics.

I received the email and calls as well.  Sounds like they are using monster.com to get personal information. I have sent a complaint to monster and recommend you do the same.

I got a call just now , same thing.

Do they call more than once?

This is the first call to my cellphone from scammers, 3rd party debt collectors, and telemarketers. I get tons of those calls on my landline, which I now use for outgoing calls and my pc.

Isn't calling your cellphone an illegal practice?

Maybe i'll register their number on the National Do Not Call list.

A note about the National DO NOT CALL LIST:
I read here and elsewhere that many people think you register your own number and that stops calls coming to you in a month or so.. That's not how it works at all... and it suggests those who have gone to that site never read the instructions.  you have to register to use it, but you also must keep going back to that site to enter any new numbers that have called you that you don't want calling you. Then, wait and see if it does any good..

I got the same call this morning.  I didn't answer, and they left the same recorded message that others have already mentioned.

I'm pretty sure they got my name from Monster.  Very annoying, particularly in these economic times.  A lot of people are out of work, and they are going to call these scam artists back.

I got an automated call to find ipscard.com/123 today.  Once I typed this into the computer, I did not find an easy account about jobs. Rather, I located addresses that badgered the site. What is this domain and does it really apply to locating a job?

I received this call today also. At first I was thinking that maybe it was legit. I am glad I checked out this sight. It is a shame that we have to deal with scam's when all we are trying to do is find employement.

Everyone, Monster is a FREE service. Get over it. Leave your number off of free service websites if you are having issues. How much further in depth does a free service provider need to go in to? Background checks? You going to pay for it?

I recieved a call from this number as well and just like everyone else a woman by the name of Julie left me a voicemail about noticing my resume and requesting me to call her back. So when I typed in the website she gave, this particular web link popped up and when I started reading about everyone's experience- it scares me as well as frustrates me that ANY web site especially as big named as some of the job postings allows this to slip past them!
