Rude, pushy, aggressive woman called our home insisting she could only speak to my husband because he has "earned" something".  I told her I would like her to tell me the name of her supposed company, as he had not "earned" anything (other than his paycheck).  The woman said she cannot tell anyone that information as it can only be revealed to my husband.  I asked her to take our number off her calling list.  She said she would NOT do that and would call back later, regardless of my request for her not to.  I told her that we are on the "National Do Not Call List" and that I could contact the Attorney General's office to lodge a complaint.  She overrode what I was telling her as I was talking (superimposed her voice over mine) and told me she WILL be calling back again to talk to my husband about "something he earned".  She hung up on me.  

They called me this morning telling me I won a 250$ gift card to some website and 5 monthly magazines for 3.83$ per week and they would bill me 15$ something a month. So, to be safe, I gave them the card # that my child support comes on.  This whole time I was asking the name of their company and she said "The Publishers" and that it would come up "Readers something" on my card. I kept asking for information about her company because I am looking you up on the internet to make sure you are not a scam. Well, she informed me that I gave her a stolen card number and that I was trying to scam her and she was going to report my card....WHATEVER!!!! She ducked and dodged every question I asked. I could not find anything on the internet about them. So, when I got off the phone, I googled the number and found all of your comments.  Thank God that they scare away from a state issued card!!! They are a SCAM, if you get a call from them, tell them they are known scammers. The conversation will get ugly quickly. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Pretty sure it's some sort of scam!! They call my cell all the time and this time I answered and told them they have the wrong number, Hopefully they'll take my number off their list!!

Publisher's something or other...wanted to talk to Cherri which thru the poor connection sounded like my name.  Said they got my number because I signed up for something a day ago.  I haven't signed up for anything in a long time because of folks like this.  Wanted to give me a free coupon, but I didn't stay on long enough to find out for what.

They called me to day but I did not answer and they left no message.

They called me and asked some personal questions about age and job. Then told me I won 250.00 worth of gift cards along with a bunch of magazine subscriptions BUT they needed my credit card number so that they could charge me some small amount of 3.83 a week or something along those lines. She mentioned that a pre paid credit card wouldn't work and they needed it to be from a checking account. SCAM!!!

When I asked her what the total cost was going to be of the charge she couldn't answer me. All she would say is she hasn't done the math and she doesn't have a calculator. She was getting very nervous and her voice was shaking really bad when I kept asking her what the total amount of the charge was going to be. Be very careful and don't give them your credit card information!!!
