Why can't the government stop these phone terrorists??  Big brother has the time and money to tap into people's texts and phone conversations, they should be able to help its citizens from being victimized by these pond scum!!  Just pick up and immediately hang up if you don't want to wait for the answering machine.  Don't fall prey to these low lifes!!

Showed up as GVCC on my caller ID.  These scam artists are like a fungus.  You think you get rid of the credit card scammers and they come back on a different number.  That's why you can block them and they'll come back to bother you within a short amount of time, even from a different area code.  Wish enough people, especially the elderly, were more aware of these scams so we could put them out of business!!!

Called at 10AM today (Saturday). I did not answer. No message left. I just blocked this number on my Panasonic 250 call block capability phone .

Called at 10 AM on a Saturday.  The lady I spoke with sounded like she put on a fake Scandinavian accent, and she said she would lower all my credit card interest rates to 6.9%.  I asked what bank she was calling from, and she said they are 3 different banks.  When I questioned that, she said they all merged together, which I know is a lie.  She began asking me for personal information, which I refused to give her.  She then read from a long script and used a lot of jargon, she was trying to confuse me.  I asked to speak with her supervisor.  He sounded like he had a fake Pakistani accent.  I told him that I want something in writing stating their business.  He gave me the runaround about that.  He wanted to know my credit card expiration date for one of my accounts, I said I don't feel comfortable giving it to him.  He then said that he can confirm my account number, he just wants me to verify the expiry date.  He guessed the first 2 digits of my account number correctly, and then he tried to guess the third digit.  He guessed 3 different numbers (none of which were correct).  I asked where he was calling from, and he said Orlando, FL, which is bizarre because they were calling from a MN number.  I hung up at that point.  These people will try to confuse you into giving them information that they claim to already have about you.

Called early Saturday morning. Do not recognize this number. Checked on line found other people getting calls from this # stating it is a bogus call. On do not call list and should not be getting calls like this!

Robot dialer called me at 9:07 a.m. on a Saturday morning about "lowering your credit card interest rates". Claims to be "my credit card company" but never identified themselves specifically by name. My phone number is registered with the Do Not Call List so I went online to the Do Not Call Complaint page and filed a complaint. If your phone is registered with the Do Not Call Registry and you are getting calls from this number, please go online and register a complaint against that phone number and the company will eventually get a massive fine for all its robo-dialing. This is a complete scam-- they are not "your" credit card company, they are "a" credit card company, some fly by night operation that doesn't even identify itself by name.

I answer they hang up.
