United health care calling on a claim and it was legit

Makes sense too.  Perhaps we can spread this information so people will know what is happening.

This is United Healthcare cold calling to see if I had urine stains in my shorts.  I asked why and they hung up

Call was from United Healthcare. I had contacted them earlier in the week over a matter and they were calling on a follow up with me. No harm, no foul.

Reminded me that I was overdue for an eye exam.  They told me how to  find an eye doctor that took Medicaid. Then after  appointment call them back and they would send me a $50 gift card that would take 6 to 8 months to receive. How did they know my information and why would Medicaid send a gift card.?  After looking up the number and reading on this website,  makes sense. Still makes me wonder about UHS.  There is more behind the story.

someone called yesterday from the above number.  stated that my appeal was denied.  i have yet to  file an appeal  called back and was told the number was no longer in service.  why the fraud?????

Very legit.  They (UHC) called be back on a claim issue I called them about last week.

Its united healthcare.. aka the worst insurance co ever..

it is a student loan collection agency. stop calling me!

I also can confirm this is a number used by United Healthcare. I asked them a question the day before, they had to further checked regarding my plan. They called me back the next day with an answer.

I have been getting several harassment calls to my mobile phone today ( TUE AUGUST 06 2013 ) at 05:50 PM CDST - Texas Time.
I got a call by the name of Rachel ANONYMOUS-FEMALE-UNK-LASTNAME from Secure Horizons ( dba: United Healthcare ).

IF you get calls from this phone number PLEASE call your local police department immediately and tell them these are HARRASSMENT CALLS.

I believe this is one of those few legit calls.  It is United Health Group, the parent company for United Healthcare, and others.  I believe it is an outbound line only, like nursline, for example, so they can't take return calls.

If Unitedhealthcare has something to tell me that is important, I ask them to contact me by mail.  Telemarketing people are not trained to call on behalf of medical services.  UBH is not doing their image any favors.

Got a call from 763-744-3099. I picked up so fast I startled the person on the other line. They gave me the lame answer that their sister had the same cell phone number, but they could tell I was not their sister. They called more than once after that. I did not pick up after that. Absolutely sounded like a spoofing attempt.

Keep getting calls but no messages. When you call back you get Cisco Unity.... blah, blah, blah... Annoying and they should be stopped.

This is from United Healthcare - I had an issue with a claim and they called me back from this number. Seems legit.

Claimed to be calling about my Medicare Part D insurance and they did have info about my particular case.  Person was argumentative and would not listen, so after a couple of minutes I hung up.

When I called back 763-744-3099 I got a recorded announcement that the number was disconnected or not in service.

Don't know if it's legit or not but I am concerned that this third party has access to my protected (private) medical records.  

To others receiving a call from this number asking about medical info, I'd suggest you ask them to communicate via snail-mail ONLY.

Got a call this morning, they left a message on my answeriing machin3e I have yet to know what they said. the Woman was talkiing so fast tha neither me or my wife could understand what she was sayiing se said some thing about a back to work number I have been retired for almost a year, I don't want to go back to work

They didn't leave a message. When I called the number I got "Hello, Cisco Unity messaging system..."

Called my business number 3 times recently trying to fax something.  Calls at different times of the day or night.

This is United Healthcare.  They are in a cycle of denying and then promising to pay a claim hat has been submitted.

If you follow the prompts you can get into their directory and harvest hundreds of names and exentsions.  Just spell out common last names and the system will come back with names and extensions, which seem to be phone numbers.

I plan on calling as many of themn as I need to repeatedly until they pay my claim.

If everybody who is denided does the same thign they may figure out that payign the claims is cheaper than denying them.  They currently are denying 14.4% of their claims, which is far more than the natinoal average of 4%.

Wake up, UHC!  You will get some calls soon!

Yes, it's United Healthcare. Got call after call from this number after talking to UHC and our call got disconnected. I kept hearing this screeching sound like amplifier feedback. The third time I let it go to voice mail and the rep from UHC left me a voice mail, so I don't know what happened the first two times.

got called three times within minutes.  No message.

They call up to say they are checking on my health condition since being in hospita,In Columbus Georgia.

This is for sure United Health Care but when you call the 763-744-3099 number back you get a voice mail that states " Cisco Unity Messaging system" if you press 4 and type in a last name it will connect you to someone at United Health Care. I dont know what they are calling about but now i at least know who has been bugging me with random calls.
