recorded message keeps repeating. Hi, this is Target we've been trying to reach you, please hold for rep.

It is to collect a fee for a returned check. They want to make arrangements to collect the $25 fee after they put your check back thru. I just paid mine today.  They are very accomidating and will allow you to post date it until your next payday.    They still let you write checks, they don't want to loose out on your buisness.  I have no idea why they call and hang up so many times though.  And yes it is Target.

I answered the phone when this number called, and received no answer.  So I called the number back, and sure enough, it is Target's financial department.  Only problem is I don't have a Target card.

I guess it was just a mistake on their end, but they keep on calling, and I can't talk to anyone to get my number removed.

I work for Target so when they called I answered, because it said TARGET TFS on my answering machine, I still don't know what it was but my store swears it wasn't them.

Target is based in MN, do you have an account with them?

Keep receiving calls from this number but have never and will never answer it.

I received one today and two yesterday.  Minneapolis area code.  Don't know anyone there, either.
