765 283 3395 'sallie mae' no idea why they keep calling. we report the calls to national do not call register 888.382.1222.

Now, Sunday evening & we keep getting robocalls to our unlisted home phone number on the west coast from "Sallie Mae" and report to the National Do Not Call Registry: 888-382-1222.  There is no reason for them to call us.

It is Salie Mae, and their company blows! I pay my bill they day its due and because they have such a s****y software program that takea 10-15 days to post to account I get harrsing calls every month. They should be reported to FCC. A***oles!!

These people have called daily for the past two weeks.  Finally I called back and verified whoever owed them money was a different person who must have lied and given my number.  Should you ever find yourself being harrassed like this, be sure you are taken off ALL their call lists.  Someone I spoke with took me off the personal list and not the business list  So I did receive a phone call the next day and it took me going throw a screaming fit on the phone to have them correct their records.

I've been receiving calls from this number and several other all saying my daughter is behind in payment. She is not has been overpaying them for years. Nov that she is out of college. She is paying even more too pay the loan for Sallie Mae off. They didn't call her, they call me several time a day. Somebody help.

I've been receiving calls from this number for several days now.  If it is indeed Sallie Mae, they are confused.  I paid off my student loans 20 years ago.  They must be calling about either my ex-husband or deadbeat daughter's loans.... I will answer the next time they call, just to see what it is about.

No idea who this is, but have been getting calls from them for the last few weeks. Always miss their calls, they never leave a message.

I just moved to hudson valley, ny at the end of december 2010. With a new address I got a new phone #. I thought I did good getting Time warner triple package- new tv, internet, phone for $99. Well- Time warner cable was LAZY & gave me the same exact phone # as the people who lived here prior. Apparently Evelyn Gabler, Raymond Ferris, & Elizabeth Cordova didnt pay their Sally Mae Loan, Honda Loan, Blue Cross Blue Sheild, etc. I get DAILY calls from billers & explained I am new here. I even did do not call registry. (what a Joke that is) I called Time warner. They will charge me $100 to change my # unless I waste police time by filing a complaint & waste my money by pressing *57 to trace each call I get several times daily. I spoke to people at Sally Mae- In fact, Jen there knows me well. promises promises. She said so sorry will update our files. IT IS 4 MONTHS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've decided to tear my phone lines out of the wall. I will cancel all services with time warner after my contract ends. I dont blame Evelyn, Raymond, & Elizabeth for moving- I may also!!!!

I work for a non-profit org. in Miami, FL and one of my duties is to answer the phone calls coming in. I've been getting calls from this number for the past week or two...and it drives me nuts because as soon as I answer with the Org. name and "how may I help you" they hang up. So I decided to do the At&t call back *69 to find out the number. If they are looking for specific people due to loans they are barking up the wrong tree here...I wish they would find another way to use their fingers and stop harassing people at their jobs!!

Sallie Mae or whoever you are...you need to STOP bugging people!!!!

Caller ID said "Sallie Mae".  I don't know anybody in area code 765 (rural Indiana, excluding Indianapolis).  After a little research I believe it is indeed the debt collector Sallie Mae.  Here's what I read:

This number is, in fact, Sallie Mae. I have been receiving calls for the past week. No messages and weird hours they call. I ansered it once but no one was there. I called the number back and got, you guessed it, Sallie Mae. I spoke to Sallie Mae earlier today because googling the number showed that most people were saying it was Sallie Mae. I asked them what was up since I knew for a fact that I was not in default or even behind in my student loan payments.

They said I was 13 days late paying a late fee of $97.20. I had not been notified of any late fees, ever. I also told them that my payments to them are automatically paid by my bank like clockwork every single month for the past two years. What did they do on their end that caused this?, I asked. To which they responded that they didn't know! I said that they probably didn't apply my checks to the appropriate account. After researching it, the c/s person said that I was correct. They, Sallie Mae, did not apply my payment correctly in JULY! And since I didn't pay it, I was not behind in my payments. She corrected the problem she said after I asked for her name and employee number. I also asked her to stop the harassing calls from their collection agency. She replied that I had not be "behind" enough for the collections to be calling me and that is must be someone else or that I had another loan out somewhere, which I don't! I work in a financial aid office at a local college, and I can tell you that I always steer students away from Sallie Mae when working with students for lenders. These people are soooo not customer oriented.
