Checked my 86 year old blind .mother's call log today and these goons have had dozens of calls over the last couple of weeks.  Same M.O. as others above - never leave a message and also call on 317-348-9732.  She can't get to the phone in time but will kill herself trying and this is very disturbing to her and me.  She never in her life has had a student loan nor has ever co-signed for any.  So what's going on here?  These characters  must be trying to extort money from gullible old people.  I've read other people's comments and contacting them (if you can) and telling them you don't have a loan won't stop them.  So how do you get this stopped?  I see that this Sallie Mae has a court case in Illinois over this very thing.

They are ECMC.  They work with Sallie Mae to bring your student loans current. They are nice,  not a scary bill collector.

Call says it is regarding a Sallie Mae student loan, but I have never had loans through sallie Mae. Calls continue even after asking them to leave me alone.

I get calls from these people constantly, and my loan has been direct debited from my account the entire time.  They asked to "verify" personal information, which I will not do.  

I dialed the number back and they reported it was regarding a Sallie Mae student loan.  I ended the call without giving any information and will call Sallie Mae directly on their official number.They call 7/24 every day of the week 6-9 call per day and i am making monthly payments as $200-$300.

Calls come in at least once every 3 hours for the past few days. No message is left.
