Will not stop Calling. We have asked them to stop calling for months and months. We just had a new roof put on and when I tell them that, they just hang up on me. We are a very busy hotel and do not have time to constantly answer these harrasing calls.

4/17/13  5-star commercial roofing called our business, it was a woman, stated that our roof was leaking and I told her it was not. We rent and our landlord handles all of that so I asked her WHO called, just making sure our landlord did not call and she rudely hung up! I called the # back and told them what happened and they said they would check into it. RIGHT! BY THE WAY, THEY ARE USING A DIFFERENT PHONE #, IT IS

Be forewarned of these grifters.  I keep receiving calls from this POS company after telling them, in no uncertain terms, I'm not interested and to stop calling here.  To see what they are all about, just read up on the numerous complaints (5 pages and counting) they have accumulated in a very short time with the Better Business Bureau at [ http://www.bbb.org/northernindiana/business-r ... 3569/complaints ].  Their legal name is Five Star Roofing Systems, Inc and toll free phone: (888) 811-3736.  They will also harass you from 765-331-0004, Caller ID: FIVE STAR, and also from 765-347-8241, Caller ID: STAR COMM FIVE And also from unknown number, Caller ID Private caller.   These sub-humans have no place in business.

I'm sitting at my desk and here walks in some wrinkley old indian looking guy.He introduces himself as richard and what a fitting name it was. As he was asking me about my roof, I noticed that he couldnt take his eyes off of my 14yr old daughter that was off from school that day with a sore throat. I felt very uncomfortable and I Was tempted to yell at the old pervert but bit my tounge. Huge a***ole

Five Star Roofing, Hartford City, Indiana. They make calls with various numbers showing on caller ID. Hartford City is a very small town, so you can bet if you receive a call from 765 area code, it could be them. I've asked them politely not to call....they do so anyway. I've told them my number is on the FTC Do Not Call List.....they call anyway. Today I called the Hartford City Police Department @ 765-348-4819 and spoke to Officer Hawk. He took my number and indicated he would tell the owner of the company (in person) to stop calling me. He also indicated that they have received MANY other complaints.

They call me twice a week or more I always tell them to quit calling but they never do. This has been going on for over a year. I am going to contact the BBB.

They have called hundreds of times, will not stop, have asked repeatedly. I have even faxed them a list of all our company numbers and told them not to call, every time they call, I tell them do not call me but it never stops

they call us EVERY SINGLE DAY, they have been calling us for over a year over and over again, no matter how many times I tell them not to, they just keep calling over and over again - WHY WOULD THEY THINK ANYONE WOULD EVER WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE THAT HARASSES THEIR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS??!?!!!?

Same story- I've tried telling the caller I want off of the list, had the roof done by others, that I'm going to notify the attorney general.  They just call back in another month - very consistent.  Would never use this company...ever.

called us offering a "FREE ESTIMATE" - which was 3 times what other contractors were quoting so we went with someone else, now they call us 2 or 3 times every DAY asking us if we still need to get it taken care of.

I have asked them multiple times to stop calling us to no avail.

I had them give a quote to fix a few things, of course wanted to put on an entire new roof system.  I told them I only wanted certain areas repaired and give me another quote,  again it comes back with an entire roof job.  These guys are complete idiots, and I told them on the phone yet I still get calls after 3 years of this.  So it is almost a joke when 5 star calls to pick up the phone and say "hello idiot."

Yep called me today here in Ohio & insisted this wasnt a solicitation call. Absolute violation of reg. & offended that I pointed it out.

I just received a call from them. They asked if I was the owner of the building, or if  was in charge of maintenance. I just rent from there. I think they must have found my number and location from google maps. The woman sounded very upset on the phone and so I was worried what the call might be about!

Thank god for this site b/c now I know what the call was about. The person on the other end didn't introduce herself or say what they were calling for, they just sounded very upset!!

They called often in 2008 but never left messages. I looked up the number back then and saw it was 5-Star Roofing and ignored all of their calls. Over a year and a half later, they are calling again. Their calls will not be answered.

Didn't get to the phone in time, left no message.  If this is the same company, they have been told multiple times we do not own the building and any maintenance must be done through the landlord.  They must enjoy wasting money on calling businesses that do not need their service.

PLEASE CALL THEIR REFERENCES. THEY ARE USING ME AS A REFERENCE, AND WE WILL  NEVER USE THEIR COMPANY AGAIN. WE FELL FOR THE CHEAPER COST, AND GOT WHAT WE PAID FOR. MY ADVICE: LOOK FOR QUALITY.

I would not recommend answering there calls.  I did, and decided to have their roof system installed.  They completely ruined my gutter spouts. I
had tar run down all over them.  The tar was suppossed to take 3 months to set up.  It took five.  I had tar on my patio in my yard big globs of tar.  Part of my roof has debrie from trees stuck in it and needs reroofed. They want to charge me again to replace it. We are taking it to court.

Won't stop calling so I checked into them,  Did you know they have OSHA fines of over $200,000.00 because they were using asbestos in their product and did not tell their employees or customers?  If they call you - run away!  They are a bunch of crooks who have a terrible reputation!

I don't know why anybody is complaining about these calls.  I am the greatest salesman of the united states and 5 star operates the best.  90% of all customers complaining are not knowing what they are saying.  95% of all sales are on the spot.

"Hey, would y'all like an estimate on your roof?"

From the looks of this page, they've been at this a while. When I told them no, I heard the phone in the vacant office next to mine ring. Sure enough, it was the same guy. Not just cold-calling a city government office, but calling multiple offices in that building - not a great marketing plan, there, chief.

They are back at it again.

I received a call from a male from this telephone number on 11/18/2008.  When asked to speak to someone responsible for the maintenance or roofing needs of my company, I informed the caller that we rent our office space.  The caller then called me a "rude b_ _ _ _" and hung-up.

I received a call from this number today, but when I answered they just hung up so I dialed *69. I called the number back, and the man who answered was very polite. i asked him to please reomove us from their call list and he said he would and apologized for the inconvenience. I don't know if they use a seperate company for their telemarketing calls, but it sounds to me like they need to find a different one if they do. The telemarketers for this company are awful!

caller did not identify himself...just started singing a rap tune.

What a bunch of idiot's. Try and tell them your not interested and they call you back over and over harassing you. They even called cussing when I answered, and another time laughing. They must think Telephone harassment is a joke. Well five star roofing you are about to find out what happens when you harass people over and over.Maybe if you were better at roofing you wouldn't have so much free time to harass people. Now go ahead and call me again,I'm waiting with my recorder and pictures of the caller ID.

5 Star roofing called me today,*again*, guy sounded like he just smoked a joint, speach all slured and words out of order.
