I think it is a non-profit calling for the Indiana State Police.  I think these people are a scam with very little money going to the actual Police.  I wish they would go away.

Every day at noon (give or take) these a-holes call. Now they're beginning to call twice a day...at noon-ish, then again around 5:00 in the evening. We're on the No Call List so how are they getting thru? There's never a person on the other end so why can't someone disconnect that damned computer caller?!? I've had enough of their crap!

Please stop calling! I literally receive 2 phone calls right after each other several times a day every day!

Keep getting calls from 765-472-9977 and comes up on phone as AT&T Messaging.  Almost 100% of the time there is no one there.  Once I actually got someone on the phone, they said they were soliciting for the Indiana State Fraternal Order of Police.  So to get some documentation, we agreed to donate.  So in the mail we get a bill from them for the pledge of $45.00.  The pay to address is a PMB (Public mail box, most likely in a "Mail boxes etc" location) Indiana State FOP PMB 315, 1075 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220-5034.
We have decided that they are not only not getting their donation, but they are getting reported to the Indiana Attorney Generals office!

Caller ID says AT T Messaging?

We have donated in the past, but now they are calling every 3 months.

I have received a lot of anoying phone calls from this number without leaving a message.  Does anyone know who this is?

Been getting a call once a day for the last month. No messages left and twice that I actually picked up no one answered.  I don't bother anymore.  ID says A AT Messaging, but I haven't been able to determine what that is yet.

This person calls me but says nothing.

I am on the no caller list. So whoever this is calling me has no right to do so.

2 calls everyday and when I answer, there is nothing on the other end of the line.  Leave me alone, already!!!!!!!

They call in, all day

I have received many calls from the number 765-472-9977 but they never leave a message and when I answer the call they hang up. The only thing I can find out about the number is that it is from Peru, Indiana. If it is someone asking for donations, they will not get money from me, all they are doing is p**sing me off. I will be calling my phone company to see how to block the calls.

My caller ID only says the name & number. When I picked it up (twice) it went to a "click" then silence. I've never gotten a recording or a voice or text message. Even the "messages" on the answering machine is the silent "white noise". I'd like to know what the St. Police can do about it (since it's supposedly them calling)...

We've been getting calls from this number for months now, endlessly throughout the day. They start around 9AM and don't quit until 9PM! Aren't they suppose to be part of the "don't call list" numbers? We're sick of them! What can we do about it?

I've been called everyday for the last month; however, they never answer or leave a message.  My ID pops up A AT Messaging, so I don't bother answering it anymore.  You need to get the company information and tell them "Please take me off your call list"  They must "represent" several entities, so you have to get their company name when they call- not who they represent.  If they call you after you have told them to take you off their call list then you can take legal action. If they are a legitimate service they must stop calling.  If they are not then they hang up like they do when I answer.

I get calls from them 2x a day!  My phone has a block feature where it will answer the phone and play a rapid busy signal.  That's the only way to deal with these people

I keep getting calls as well. Thanks for the info on who it is. I am getting called from number 765-454-8918 and the caller id says affiliated vm. They have called me serveral times in the past month, so over this! My daughter answered the phone the last time they called. She was more than creeped out because the gentleman wasn't very soft toned with her. He wasn't mean, but kept pushing for her parents. She didn't like that experience at all! NOT COOL! They obviously have several numbers they use, so i'm just going to have to block each of them one by one. They need to take a hint and leave me alone!!!!

I have called the fcc to report a number of 765 area code that calls and never says anything; but try to call that number back and see what you get.  The FCC said they can't do anything if it says in the recording that you call back that it IS a not for profit organization....how do you prove what they really are.

I have reported this to the AG and was told to contact the state police superintendent, even though the caller is a non-profit calling on "behalf" of the police.  I have done this 3x in the last 9 months-NO help.
"The AG cant do anything because they are a non-profit."  Here is the kicker. The caller gets paid for every call they make. MORE of course if we anser, but they find out you aren't answering for whatever reason and they keep calling back. One day I had 9 calls from them  SO VERY FRUSTRATING!!

I receive calls from this number several times a day. They have been calling for over a week and will not leave a message. It's getting very annoying and I wish it would stop!

These people have been calling my house every day for nearly two months.  They won't give up.  If I don't answer the phone, they won't leave a message.......But if I DO answer the phone, they hang up on me.  And if I try to call them back, I go straight to a recording that says "We'll try back another time."  How to I get them to stop calling me?  It is rather annoying and frustrating.

I have been getting these calls from 765-677-7602 the id says Affiliated VM the phone provider is Ameritech they have been calling for a about a month. Its bull that people can do this nobody is ever on the other end of the phone when I answer they call about every hour or two. How can I get this to STOP!

These idiots call me at least 2 or 3 times a week.  I'm sick of it!!  Will they ever get the message?  NO, because they are retards.
