"Jill" of IND CO called but will not say what the company is that she represents, so do not let the call go any further.  Really believe it is a scam of some sort.

This company keeps calling but when asked what the company (Jill) is calling will not give an answer.

Just keep calling them and harrassing them....they dont like it they have a quota to meet or they get canned ....idiots dont know the law and that is why they are in a deadbeat job and they work from vacant buildings

That's all they know how to say but the problem is you dont verify the debt, you violate FCRA laws and everything under the sun...these people are scammers , deal with small junk debt that they buy from companies for a nickle and cant even prove that you signed a agreement and where is the validation of Debt letter....LOL you wont get it cause they wont provide it...these people are a bunch of red neck trash....when they cant get what they want they pass it along to another company who does the same thing....they leave messages with no inbound phone number....Karma is as Karma does....they will pay for what they do to people one way or another.....go back under the rock you crawled out from....my suggestion is to report everyone as that is what I have been doing, also make sure you check your credit report as well as file complaints to the FTC, Attorney General , Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Bureau....and ya i agree ....SHUT UP

Get calls from this number all the time.  Says it is Regina and I need to call her back at 765-751-3244.  Have no clue who this is and she doesn't have the correct name so I don't call it back.  Sounds like a scam to me!

if it is a collection company as they say.  1) if they do not leave a msg. they can call every day. 2) if they talk to someone other than who they are asking for, again every three days. 2) if they talk to the person they are asking for they can call again in 7 days. 3) if they call your number and you tell them there is no one there by that name or you do not know this person, they can not call back and you can turn them in

What are u with the company?  I  don't owe anything and they called my landline phone which I never give anyone.  They said this is Greg please call back.  I don't owe any bills if I did I woe get a bill in the mAil and used to a friend of mine got a bill from atlas collections. Why don't they send smthg if they think I'm going to give my cc over phone to someone don't know they r nuts!

They keep calling a number I rarely use any more. They actually do leave messages for me, but they're brief and snotty sounding. When I called back today, I was told I would not be given even the company's name unless I was the person they were calling for. I could not verify the information she wanted, and after repeatedly asking for the name of the company, the woman hung up on me. I've been calling back ever since to let them know that I will not be a victim of theirs, and now THEY are the ones not answering their phones when they see my number pop up. I keep leaving them messages, too. It makes me giggle, that now they're getting a taste of their own medicine.

They called about a month ago wanting me to pay for a checking account that was over drawn and closed.  Provided documentation that the account had been paid off 11 months ago AND a police report showing identity theft.  Still harassing me.  Was able to 'rtick' them into giving me their fax number though.  Ha!  Now time to fax them a fair collection practices letter stating not to call me.  They are horrid nasty people.

Would not leave a company name and somehow called my husbands brother numbr which I never use...

YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO THAT. MAYBE SOMEONE USED YOUR NAME TO HAVE A UTILITY TURNED ON OS PURCHASE SOMETHING. NOT SAYING THE PERSON YOU KNOW WOULD DO THAT, BUT THESE DAYS YOU NEVER KNOW. THATS HOW I FOUND OUT SOMEONE DONE THAT TO ME!

Got a call from this number... said this is Ms Clark...please call me back this number 800xxxxxxx.  Didnt call it back.  Probably debt or sales.

Warning!!!! I received calls from this number 3 times today. The last call, I finally answered, a man asked if this was Lindsey, I said yes and he hung up. I hit call back on my cell, a super nice woman answered. It is the number for Atlas Collections but, !!!!! according to her, there are no men working in that office!!! She said there isn't an unpaid balance for me and my number is not in her system! It gets weirder!!!!!! Immidiately after I spoke with the woman at Atlas, I received a text from a person I don't know, claiming to know me! Am I just paranoid, or am I about to be the victim of some type of crazy scam? I don't even know who to call to report this or how.

This number came up on my phone and I wanted to know why

i gave them their money order and they still are blowing up my phone... when you are out of work and are actively looking for work how can they ask for money when none is coming in? i have to worry about rent and food this HAS to come first then electricity and then if anything else isnt coming due i try to send them some money, my family cant help, atlas collections doesnt care about me, or my situation all they care about is their money, that i do not have! so im thinking they dont leave a message i am nt picking up or calling back!

I also tried to explain to "Ms.Lee" that if she would run my information she would plainly see I am NOT a 78 year old women who is being sued by Ball Hospital because of my hip replacement. I guess they don't have HIPPA laws huh? It took months and about $1700.00 to a Lawyer to get this matter revolved and off my credit. And when we were finally done did any one say oh we are so sorry for putting you through this? NO I was told it was my fault I should have paid my bill ????? What bill I am way to young for a hip replacement I hope she never pays for her hip they deserve it !
I think that all of this could have been avoided when I went to their office to take my information in you can look at me and tell I am in no way near 78. The office was dirty as were the people they just looked trashy like they did not care about you or anything else !!!
All this because our names are similar as are our SSN'S some one could have helped (maybe they can't read I am just guessing on that )

This person keeps calling and I want it to stop

I hate to admit it but i work collections and yes, sadly we too get collected on. I had a few outstanding medical bills when they first called. Being a collector I happen to know all the fair debt laws and laws for phone collections. First law they break: when you ask for the name of the company that has called your phone, the Better Business Bureau requires they identify their company. As I know and some of you have mentioned they refuse to do that. The second illegal thing they do is start spitting out ur going to be sued and all of the debtor information. First thing they have to do is verify at least 2 pieces of information by having you reverse verify (tell them the info yourself)  but instead if you ask them they will give you all of that information if you just say (and I said this word for word) yeah I might be the person you're looking for and they gave me address, other known numbers, ssn, and debt amount. Asked them for the dob and they had given me that too. I then went to say I wasn't that person but since they gave me all that info, i'd get a hold of that person for them. And they still continued to say I needed to pay the bill. I decided to call the hospitals my sled and pay them and completed my last payments to them last year, yet I still received a call from them saying none of those were paid. Can you say class action lawsuit? I can.

I just got a call from a Jamie Moore that called from this number.  She wanted to talk to me in regarding another person that doesn't live with me.  I know them - but what does THEIR bills have to do with ME?  Why do they even have my freakin phone number?  I sure as hell not going to answer the phone call - especially when it isn't even about me.  They didn't say who they were - but it was a Muncie number and then I looked online and saw it was Atlas collections - leave me alone - I don't owe you SH**!@

Why are you even on here?  This is for people that get calls - apparently you don't get calls from these people or either work for the stupid company.  Get a life!

Atlas Collections owns this number; the caller has never identified the company. Like other collection agencies, Atlas probably buys old debt from merchants/companies for pennies on the dollar, so any money you pay them stays with them. I saw that a well-known attorney in Muncie IN is associated with them, maybe an owner, so their techniques include threatening you with court action. Although I don't personally know the attorney, I had held him in high regard; then I discovered he was behind this company. You just never know....
