Who in the hell is this a s s wipe? And WTF do they want?

I got a call from this number, answered, afraid it may have been a call I was expecting, and after a long pause I hear "You there?" and they hung up. So Weird. I just wanted to see where the call was coming from, how strange there are so many reports with this number!

I got a call too, just clicked it as a hangup.

this person calls daily--never answers if I pick up.  just an annoyance from some stupid person with nothing else to do...

For some reason, my Android phone would not block "Unknown" calls on my cell phone.  Luckily, I was able to find a free application called Call Control that DOES.  Between my cell phone reject list and the free application, I am in good shape.

I received a call, the phone rang twice and hung up.

I got a call from these guys today as well.  It showed up as "Arthritis Info"; However, I am a Retired Army Sergeant, Military Police Officer, and have over a decade experience in Private Investigations, Fugitive Enforcement, and Tracking, so I used a few resources and pulled these names which are associated with this telephone number:

1.  Scott S. Stamper
2.  Ashley Thomas
3.  Ashley Thomas (Showed in my database twice)

They are using a PO Box out of Lafayette, IN, which is never a good sign for a legitimate business.  Most legitimate businesses will at the very least, have a physical address and the business will not be listed under multiple (if ANY) "individual's name".  My advice is to report them to the Better Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org.  Check out any complaints filed against this company and then file one yourself.  In addition, there are laws that regulate what times that debt consumers, etc. can contact you and how often: "Fair Debt Collections and Practices Act".  If they are merely advertisers (or even debt collectors), by law you have the right to instruct them to take you from their call list and to never contact you again or they can be prosecuted for Telecommunications Harassment.  I hope this is helpful to you all.

I hadn't gotten any scam calls for almost a week, I thought it was finally over, but no, I got a call from this number again on Thursday 2012-07-19, I did not answer and let it ring (4 rings):

But maybe it's finally tapering off, and these jerks are finally figuring out that calling a dead number 100 times is a waste of time.  Ha ha, yeah, I know, I'm dreaming.

This number calls me six or seven times a week and never leaves a message.  I'm on the no call list as well.  This is very irratating.

I am getting calls from this number every 30 minutes. Same # but different name. I also have been getting calls from Pamels Miller. No messages but they are tied in with pay day loans.Pamela Miller is calling right AGAIN.

I have been getting this number from some company about Arthritis info. Apparently in the past,
I filled out some survey, and I crossed the box, that I have arthritis, which I have.
I have been on the no call list in the past,but it does not seem to do any good.
I understand people have to make a living, I am just afraid that if I answer this call, somebody will
give my number to someboody else. And the calls will just keep coming.

Who knows if this number really has to do with anyting about Arthritis. I wonder if somebody is  just
trying to get personal info about me.

I had a call from them today but there was no message left. The number was 765-807-6509.

they called my home no. then my cell no.  said the F B I  said there was a break-in in my neiborhood and they wanted to sell me something but i hungup before i heard anymore.   I am sick of there calls..

this number calls my cell phone for which i have to pay by the min as it is a trac phone.  is there a way to stop this?

Yeah right, like the "do not call" registry works. Telemarketers don't care about that list.

I missed the call so i called back. they said to notify  my local police dept.,of the call. it was strange,so i hung up. i called again when my husband came home and  i got   the Medicar    message...I ll  never answer this number again!

received a call at 2:19pm on 7/13/2012 from this number but didn't answer since the area code nor the phone number were familiar plus no message was left so likely unwanted/unwelcomed telemarketing/spam despite being long registered on the federal Do Not Call Registry and now on the State of Florida No Call List; I have also received other calls from this number so definitely annoying and illegal

I've gotten 3 calls so far today (Thursday 2012-07-12), I did not answer and let them ring.  Two are very familiar to me, but 480-733-2431 is new to my rotation of annoyance, and a Google search says that many people verify that number is also from scammers:

OH GOSH! They told ME from this same number that they were from Medicare! I am SO Glad your grandmother didn't do that! It sounds like someone was going to rob her! THAT IS one that the police in your town SHOULD check out. I WORKED for a Sheriff's Office and they CAN follow up and investigate this sort of call b/c it is obvious that they meant to do harm to your grandmother. Glad to see you got an address but it's most likely fake. After all, the very same number just now called me and said, "We are following up on you Medicare and back pain"....HOW DID THEY KNOW I was disable,on Medicare and have back problems!??! SCARY! ESPECIALLY after reading about the details of yours. THIS IS TOTALLY OUT OF HAND!
