several calls but did not answer, wasting time and minutes on my cell phone. These need to stop.

Got a call at 12:02 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from this number.  Have found out it was a scam.  do not call back.

Got a call from this number on my cell at 5:00 am, only rang twice - looked it up when I got to work and glad I didn't return call - my came up Dominica as well.

I just received a call on my cell from this number. Caller id says originating number is Dominica

Phone rang only once and didn't leave a message.  Googled #, in case it was a client or vendor.  Read lurker's comments from 1/31/14 and glad I did!

I am receiving several Caribbean and Island based calls since receiving my new Verizon phone number.  I've heard about these scam calls and don't even answer my phone any more without checking on the computer first to determine the area code origination.

Yup ..same number here. Funny too 'cause I'd just read online somewhere about the newest "prison" telephone scam just yesterday ..then today came the call. Rang twice & hung up ..so I looked up the number ..so here I post. ;)

This is a scam, as confirmed by the BBB. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER BACK. As soon as you hit send, you get a $20-$30 charge added to your phone bill. Here's the story: (sorry if it doesn't hyperlink)

I always look up the number online instead of calling back. Too many con artists out there who have no actual skills and aren't intelligent enough to hold a legitimate job and make money the way hard-working people do. Not giving my money to pathetic sacks of you-know-what whose only useful day on earth will be the day they take their last breath and leave it.

Today I rec'd a call from this number.  The past month or more my wife and I have been receiving calls from numbers beginning with  268-762 (and last 4 digits are changed for the different calls). Our State BB says these calls are most likely from Antigua, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc.and they've been targeting various states hitting MN now.  It appears this 767-235-9450 falls into the same category.

Do not reply!  If you do they immediately get the needed information and your acct will then be billed.

Just got a call from this number again today, only rings once or twice at most, the 767 area code is Carribbean. The news etc., is reporting how these calls are meant to get you to call back and incur $$$ charges on your phones. I've received calls from
'767'  frequently in the last several weeks.

I just received a call from this number on my home phone. Brand new number that no one has had before and I have not given out to anyone. I'm unsure how this solicitor(or whatever it was) got my number. Rang twice and hung up, no message. I did not return the call. I'm now contacting my provider to find out how to block these unwanted calls.

I just got a call from this this stupidface. Tried calling back and get the message "You don't have enough credits to place this call. Sorry."

I received a call from this number.  The phone rang once and hung up.  

I got this unwanted call just a few minutes ago.  I do not know anyone there.  It rang 3 times and hung up.

My daughter was traveling overseas at the time I got the call (a couple days ago). I did try to call it back when I saw it, but didn't get anything but air static. Until I read an article online a few minutes ago I didn't give it a second thought. I will have to check my bill to see if I was charged anything.

Just got a call about 20 minutes ago (3:50 CST). Checked and saw all of this. Glad I checked. Just aging in that it's still going on, even during normal daytime.

Am I in trouble if I picked up the call? I didn't call back, but i did answer. I have friends traveling right now and so I thought it might have been them, didn't know the are code was not a U.S. code until I looked it up, glad I didn't try calling back first.

I didn't call the number back, but I did initially answer it. There was dead air and then they hung up. Am I in trouble for having picked up the call?
