I received a call 01/12/2014 @15:24 from 767-275-9070 I googled the number and got the Dominican Republic and a warning not to respond.  when I tried to call it back, I got an operator intercept!
I looked further into phone records I received another call from a 2nd number 767-924-9474 @ 01/30/2014 @21:24 the same warning came up when googled.  I have only been on the internet a short time and my phone is not in my name.  noone responds to answered calls.  I work for a company who wires money internationally.  I'm really curious if there is any corallation.

This number called my 78 year  old mother. This is crazy! We have t-moble.

do NOT call missed call. My daughter was charged $31.81. 1st minute was in the am and she wondered who it was and called back at night then was charged 18 minutes. From the Dominca. Verizon removed charges no problem and informed us it is a SCAM. Never answer or call numbers you don't know!

I just got a $1.99 charge for this number on my son's phone bill!

I got a call from this number 767-235-9474 on my cell phone.  They didn't leave a message.  I didn't call back thank goodness since I just read below that if you call this number back, you will start racking up a large phone bill.  Also don't answer the phone to any of these strange foreign numbers.  All are scams.

Called just as I was walking into work this morning. I didn't asnwer. Isn't there something that can be done to stop these calls?

Just got one of these a few minutes ago.  Didn't answer.  Luckly I google it and came across this site.

thanks for the info. looks like they are making the carib scammers are making their way to calling Wash DC and MD numbers... got a call from this number  767 235 9474 for first time today, 4 Feb 2014.  no VM left, and I will heed the warnings and not return the call.

Received a call from this number at 1am.  Thank goodness I had my ringer turned off and it came thru as a missed call.  

rang one time at 11:30 at night. didn't answer.  shouldn't be calling at this time of night!

Just got the old "2 ring and nothing" routine and looked here to find this page. Blocked the caller on my iPhone by clicking the caller Id info button to the right of the number, scrolled to the bottom, and hit block this caller.

Glad I did not pick up these people are so abusive who make these type of calls...

if you dont recognize number dont answer and dont call back because it is a scam.. you will be charged 10.00 per minute..they are adding to your phone bill...hard to get charge removed.

WHY would you return a call to a number you don't recognize? It will most likely cost you MUCH more than $30!

I just received a phone call from them. It was 10:00 at night, i didnt call them back instead i looked the number up on here.  I'm glad that I did and did not call back.

Just got a call @ 8:43pm EST. Wtf. Weird, my mom called it back, busy sig, then again and a message from AT&T telling us that of we want to continue the call we must speak with customer service. Thankful for that, but I'm nosy, so when I get a call from unknown number I wanna know who it is. We have a missing family member with ties to the carribean, it's sad we have to be fearful of answering our phone now days bc of scams like this.
