Its a SCAM! Do not answer, do not call back! You will be charged an international calling fee if you do...

Verizon seems to be the only carrier who let this happening. Sprint is aware of this new scam and is taking of blocking these phone scams to its customer. Verizon only allows 4 free block numbers every 90 days.  If you want more numbers, as it is happening on our 4 lines being scammed, we need to pay a fee and it is permanent.  Verizon manager informed me that they are not to be the one to pay a dime towards any preventive scam.  It was quite shocking the way he said it.  But it tells me Verizon pockets money and does not care about their customer. Well the wheel turns!

I received a call, which I did not answer or call back, from the above number. I was then charged for the call. Verizon did reverse the charges, to their credit.

If you pay by the minute for calling this 767 number and if the company making the calls get some percentage of your payment,  I would think 'scam'. Their calls are designed to make you call them - calls ring only once and calls come in the middle of the night. And when you do call them, you are put onto hold: "Your call will be answered soon - please hold. "

I have read posts here at 800notes from several people who reported the same problem.

Tho number is calling me trying to get money out of me.  It's annoying because they call all the time and even in the middle of the night.  

Not sure what the deal is, but I received an international long distance charge for $1.99 for a call to that number on my son's line.  He doesn't remember calling them.

We were charged $132 for an international call. When I looked at the number it was this number 1-767-275-9163. We did not make these calls. They must've called and somehow made it look like it was an outgoing call. Now it is on our bill. Any ideas how to fight this with Verizon?

Did you recently suffer fraudulent charges on your bank account from a tent and awning company?

Unknown number and I didn't pick up the phone because it takes me a minute before I realize that it is my phone ringing, blocked the number and they'll never call back. Oh and don't mess with people who have Jailbroken iPhones, they know how to use them. :] Cheers! Never gonna get a call back from this number.

I just had the same thing happen, you can block them individually through verizon. I'm just going to call them back and ask questions as to how they have my number.

Saw a missed call and new it wasn't anyone I know because I don't give my cell # out.  I am glad I can look on sites like this one for information but does it do any good to report it?  

Just got a 2 ring call.  Looked here and saw that you SHOULD NOT CALL BACK!  Apparently it's a scam....when you call back they are somehow able to run up your phone bill. (see other comments)

They called at 430 this am. I called them back at 630am because I was angry they called me and woke me up. All I got was being on hold with really bad techno music and a message to wait for the operator.

Calling back an unknown number from the 767 may lead to unwanted cell phone charges.

You could also get calls from a 473 area code.  The 473 number is from a Grenada and the 767 is from Dominica.  Those who call back are charged by the minute.

One and two ring calls from Caribbean Country's (Montserrat, Dominica,Jamaica, Grenada,  Antiqua and Barbados, Saint Lucia..) should not be called back! These calls are done so you will call them back and cram your phone bill with high Call costs:

Got his call earlier today. Used  your site to track it down to Dominica. Any body know who it is,?

This number called me on my cell at 9:43am Eastern.  I didn't answer it.  Funny that the last poster also is named Anne and was called an hour later.  

This number called me on my cell at 10:56 AM Eastern time.  No person, no message, just silence and then dropped call beeps.

This number has called me numerous times. I saw on my cell that it registered "Dominica". Since I don't know anyone that lives in Dominica, or who is on vacation there (LOL), I do not answer, but they keep trying. I am going to call my cell provider and have them block this number forever, if possible. So annoying. Really pissing me off!!!!

Got a call (around 11pm), did not answer. It showed up as Dominica.

Called my cell phone,first NO-NO since i am on the Do not call list but  since it foreigners do not think they have to abide by the law,Second Mistake,Third it is BAIT call,they do not want you to answer,they hope you will call the number back and you get charged for an INTERNATIONAL Phone Call.AVOID ALL NUMBERS WITH THIS PREFIX!!!

Got a call from this number at 5:00 am I let it go to voicemail but they didnt leave a message so annoying

got a call from this number around 1:30 p.m .Didn't answer...checked google and found out it's a scam for money or charges to my phone.I need a way to block unwanted calls....I hope someone puts these people in jail or that they have to pay big bucks for causing stress to all of us.
