Received a call from this number and another 767 area code number multiple times and the charges on two different months of bills totaled over $30 and I didn't even pick up the phone!!!

Received a call from this unknown international call.

I had a missed call and I called back not knowing it was a scam call.

had a $28 charge on my phone I guess it was a call back? 767-275-9172 is a bad number
called Verizon had to put a claim into the fraud dept.
are able to cancel all outgoing international calls witch is a plus  

I didn't answer these calls but Verizon billed me $1.99 twice.
I don't have any record of these calls.
I did receive another call about 2 weeks later and it was identified
as Dominica but I didn't answer and blocked the number on my iPhone

Well its 11:13pm and I just received this call I didn't answer but I called back twice! Nobody answered but said I was unable to call number back at that time then beeped like,a voice mail. I then hung up. They called my home phone which is with Verizon. Looks like I'll be calling them, tomorrow :( ughhh

Recieved call from dominica. 767-275-9172. They do not identify themself and i know they are a scam of some sort. Who ever is tracking - please shut em down

I just recieved a call and it went to voice mail. With all of these scams even as a Realtor who gets many calls from unknown sources I have started letting strange numbers go to voice mail instead of answering. It's too bad that these things have gotten out of hand.

Telephony-based services, often the fraudulent kind, have been billing through phone carriers for a long time. How do you suppose dating "chat" lines work, or phone sex, or past cons like the fake mystic "Cleo" and the Psychic Friends Network? Ditto for "dial-a-joke" or a recording of a bad holiday children's story or anything else you can deliver by audio.

Those schemes at least had the decency to advertise something of value, however dubious, in exchange for a disclosed fee per minute. The new Caribbean calls simply blast everyone and wait for morbid curiosity to do the rest.

It cost me $7.96 when I called the number back.. I had no idea I was being billed for it.  How do the people make money from this?  Doesn't Verizon make the $7.96?

Received a call from +767-275-9172 and it has to be an International Number since it has a Plus sign. This is coming through my cell phone. How do these people get cell numbers? Must be buying lists from some call center since we have so many outside the US.

How about sanctions against these countries for lenient laws against such practices?

My wife got a call from this number at 7:18 am this morning on her cell she didn't answer it since we were driving from work when we got home she saw she missed a call so she looked at the number and told me about it so I Googled the number and found this site and that its a scam, glad we don't answer unknown numbers or numbers from a different country.

Do not appreciate calls in the middle of the night. We have family and never know if something happened to them or not, .so we have to get up in the middle of the night to answer these stupid calls. I did not know who it was from so I didn't answer it.

Like many others, got the call very late at night (11:37 p.m. EST) and didn't pick up since I didn't recognize the number. It only rang 2-3 times. No message left.

Called on my govt phone. I answered and a 6 second call wiped out all my minutes!! Don't answer,or call back!!!

Do not pick up and 767 area code unless you actually know someone from Dominica. This has been happening to me and many other people. It is a scam- they call you at odd hours like 2am, only let it ring twice and then hang up in hopes that you'll call back. If you do call back, you're placed on hold for as long as you'll stay on the line and then you get a crazy phone bill with roaming charges for making an international call. They have several different numbers they've used to call me and they all appear on my iPhone to be from Dominica and have 767 areas codes. DON'T PICK UP OR CALL BACK!!

This #called my phone and let it ring one time so i googled the # and retrieved the scam info please remove this # for it is a scam

Thanks, Julie!  I received a call from this place on my cell phone this AM and I have not given out the number of my cell phone to very many people, so did not recognize the number.  I googled it and found your message!  I'm certainly glad I did not return the call!  :)

Rang hung up missed call. Nothing after that and I had the same thing happen with a number from Maine earlier today

Cell phone rang at 9:20pm, answered it and it was staticky, but no response when I said hello.
