Opinions are like a.s.s.-holes, everyone has one... and given that our country is being deconstructed, we need leaders, not opinions! We also need to get rid of all the bums in Congress... the root of all our current evils.

Opinion survey? He's one: You're dumber than a brick if you think I'm going to pick up the phone for a number I don;t recognize, especially if it's from out of town.

Called it back.  Its a recording for a survey center.  Says to be removed, you must submit it in writing to an Atlanta address.

Get calls from this number almost every day and get a hang up every time!  It has gotten extremely annoying.

They've been calling several times. Never answered. Called the number today. They are a telephone survey compsny.  They ask that you request to have your phone number removed by writing only.

Called by 770-217-7845 at dinner time, I did not recognize the name or number, I did not answer, they did not leave a message. Callerid said "J2 GLOBAL COMMU".

That is not correct.  The Do Not Call List is not sold to telemarketers.  

I got my cell number in, I think it wass 2003.  I put the number on the Do Not Call List the day I got the number.  I get fewer than 10 spam and scam phone calls each year.  If the list was being sold I would get a lot more calls.  

I protect my number like its the gold in Fort Knox.  I don't sign up for loyalty cards.  I don't enter drawings.  I haven't given it to Facebook.  I don't post it on the internet.  I don't give it to stores when they ask for it.  I don't sell on Craigs List.  

The Do Not Call List law is a list of phone numbers where the owner does not want telemarketing calls and a law against calling those numbers.  The photography studios and time share pests that used to call obey that law and have stopped calling.  For a scammer its just one more law to break.

National Do Not Call Registry doesn't work. They will sell your number as well. Just block the caller. This is the only way.

I frankly believe these people call to see if anyone is home and may be casing houses to break into! When I answer, they immediately hang up!

Its ga natural gas customer survey. They are calling to do a rating of your last call to them. Just hung up with them.

They have called several times the last few days. They called a few minutes ago.  I just clicked talk and put the phone face down and walked away. I then hung it up about ten minutes later. The least I can do is tie their line up a few minutes so they can't pester the next caller for a bit. It's a shame we have to pay for a phone line only to be bombarded with worthless telemarketer and survey calls. Reporting them is also a waste of time, so I will continue to let them hear silence every time they call me.

Calles each evening at 8:40 central. Phone rings twice, hangs up, caller ID shows this number..Phone then rings again ONE time. No caller ID available and MY mouthpiece is muted by their call.

No one on the phone, Have caller ID, number only shows. No one on the ligne leaves message.

I have been receiving phone calls from 770-217-7845 for the past several weeks. My Caller ID shows this number to be a private line.  No messages are ever left on my voice mail.  I finally called this number back today and received a recorded message that stated that they were "The Opinion Center" and needed for me to participate in a survey.  The recording said that they do not take incoming calls and that I would need to write them to have my phone number removed from their call list.  Their mailing address is 3725 Devinci Ct Suite 300 Norcross, GA 30092.
I researched this phone number further on the internet and discovered that 2 other telemarketing companies operate at the same address:  Pioneer Marketing Research 770-449-6767 and Marketing Works Shop Inc 770-455-0114.  Because I am on the Do Not Call List, I have just reported them to the FTC.

call the # and get a recording that says to get off their call list you have to write a letter to this long address. I'm sure that's not legal.

got a call from this number several times. I do not answer calls that do not identify themselves as I have an answering machine. When it comes on they always hang up. I am on the no-call list also.

I was told they would remove my number

This is against the law - but unless people consistently report them, and they get repeatedly fined for each violation, they undoubtedly make more than the risk.

Call from J2 Global Comm 770 217 7845. Didn't answer and no message was left. Time wasters.

I received a call from 770-217-7845, and caller id marked it as private..  When I answered, the calling party hung up.  Who is it, why are they calling, and why the hang up?

Call all the time I hang up before they speak, who is this?

Got another call from this number on my cell; same thing happened exactly 24 hours ago. "Caller from Georgia" shows up; I let it ring 3 times, didn't answer. No message left. This is getting very tiresome.

Just got a call from this number on my cell. ID showed " Call from Georgia." I didn't answer. Phone rang 3 times; no message left.

The town is Norcross, Ga.
