I don't this number. Left a voice message for me to call and 800 number. I don't know this company or office.

Just got a voicemail from a Ms. Woods, polite and professional.. saying she was calling to collect a debt, but couldn't even say my first name right. She never used my last name.. and said Britin.. I'm sorry, but Brittani and Britin don't even sound the same! Right, ok.. after reading these comments I don't believe I will be calling her back. I'm already working with someone to repair my credit. I don't need to pay these crooks too. And I've dealt with people like this before.. not gonna do it again after the hell they put me through.

Caller dialed our company and asked for a name that we'd never heard of.
When I asked who was calling , they refused to answer.

My mother has been dead for 11 years and got this voicemail  today (5/14/2014).  I keep the phone number active because my relatives call me on it.  The call for a Ryan and my mother's first name was not Ryan and I'm Charles.  THIS IS A BIG SCAM ..... DO NOT FALL FOR IT ......

I am a debt collector this has been an attempt to collect a debt.

The number of the caller id is 678-248-0006.

Somebody called my husband's supervisor at work, and has been calling our home, threatening to serve me with papers. I called back and told them to send me all information in writing, and they hung up on me.

Got a call from these people today they said they are law official and debt collector (1st / Last name) had a judgment in X co and they will use any legal means to collect.  All on my unlisted and unidentified cell phone voicemail. Seems like defamation of character to me.

This number just called us at home. It is Nationwide. They called my boss at work a month ago and said they were filing criminal charges, and a Sheriff's Deputy will be serving me paperwork if I did not pay X amount of money in two days. They can kiss ANY money from me goodbye. They have YET to send me anything in writing. Just threatening phone calls.

A lady by the name of Iris called me a week ago leaving a demamnding message saying I need to call her ASAP, its very important she hear from me or she will be forced to filed the claim against me. She called today (a week later) and left the same message. She does not stated the reason, and also leaves a different number for me to call. I have not received anything in writing from these people. Until they do I am not worried about this.

Called repeatedly, once per week. The man reported that he had information that required my attention and left a callback number at a 800 number. This is suspicious, as he did not address me personally by my name, which I purposely do not give out on my voice mail greeting.

they  keep calling me--so  rude!!  they ask for a man- tell them no man here--unless  hiding under my bed- the  woman  told me she would hang up  on me for  telling her to stop calling me! I laughed and said :"good! and please don't call back!" they keep calling asking for the same man! when i  tried to  tell them no one is here by that name-they  get rude with  me & say they won't call back, but  they do-everyday!!

I recently received a call from this number and was suspicious that my name was never used. I was given a file number and a toll free number and extension. I did not respond. Thank you for this site.

i keep  getting  several phone calls  from these ppl---they are looking  for a man -  CML  (initials)  I keep telling them no one lives here by this name!  i have asked them to stop calling me! they  are so rude!  how can i stop these calls ? is there a legal  action i can pursue?  i need  some advice --but can't afford an attorney  as  am on fixed  income

I keep getting a call from 770-450-6818 a Ms Crawford saying she will put me in jail and take my checks I've never had a payday loan at all said she has all my information I keep telling her I've never had a loan from 07 not sure if she can have her men as she says come arrest me at work! has anyone else got  these kinds of calls

I posted my own post. But I want to warn you guys about something. CHECK your checking accounts online EVERY DAY.  A "loan company" that I had never contacted, never spoken with and NEVER signed a promissory note for a loan with,  well, back in January this "loan company" without my request, my knowledge,nor my approval, deposited $200 in my Checking account.  I went into my account to check my balance, and there was this DEPOSIT from loan company that I had never even heard of.  I contacted Financial officer friends who told me CALL YOUR BANK RIGHT AWAY AND ORDER THEM TO PREVENT THESE PEOPLE FROM WITHDRAWING THE $200 THEY DEPOSITED WITHOUT YOUR REQUEST OR APPROVAL, BECAUSE THEY DEPOSITED IT, HOPING YOU WOULD NOT NOTICE, SO THAT THEY COULD START **WITHDRAWING** MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.  Well, I called the Bank and they told me, flat out, that these people WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WITHDRAW ANY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.  I then called the "loan company" and they told me that they had deposited it based on my having agreed to them depositing it.  I told them that they were lying sacks of crap because I had never applied for a loan with ANYbody.  They said that if they attempted to withdraw the $200 and if I didn't have sufficient funds to cover their electronic withdrawal, that THAT meant that I was implicitly agreeing to their loan terms!  They are criminals that do this.  My bank assured me that they would NOT be allowed to withdraw the $200 that they had ILLEGALLY and WITH FRAUDULENT INTENT, DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT.
Well guess what?  The next morning, I checked my balance AND MY BANK HAD ALLOWED THESE CRIMINALS TO WITHDRAW THE ILLEGALLY-DEPOSITED MONEY.  I blew a gasket because they had PROMISED ME that that WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.  I told them to BAR THESE PEOPLE FROM WITHDRAWING ANOTHER PENNY  FROM ME EVER, THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION, EVER, TO WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT.  My bank agreed that they would not be allowed to withdraw another penny forever.
THE NEXT MORNING, I checked my balance, and MY BANK HAD ALLOWED THEM TO WITHDRAW A **SECOND** $200 WITHDRAWAL FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT!!!  I went through the roof, calling everyone at my bank, and had to go MEET WITH A LOCAL  BANK OFFICER AT MY BRANCH to FORCE THEM TO PUT BACK the second $200 WITHDRAWAL INTO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT.   Had I not fought my bank like hell, they would not have restored my money that THEY allowed those criminals to withdraw TWICE.
My bank was Wells-Fargo that did this and that allowed this.  Eventually, my bank returned $200 of the $400 that they had allowed the Fraudsters to withdrawal.
SO CHECK YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE EVERY DAY and LOOK for WEIRD DEPOSITS FROM PEOPLE YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE.

I do have outstanding debts.  My health took a dive, and I am now persuing a chapter 7 bankruptcy through a Pro-Bono Lawyer being appointed for me by my County's Bar Association.  I got a call from this number today and did not answer it and came to google and typed in the area code and number and this page came up.  Thank God I found you guys and now know that this is the beginning of harassment by these people.  I won't play with them, I will have the Bar Association Attorney file a Federal Complaint against them.

NRC called my grandma house looking for my brother. Who has never lived there, saying he commited tax fraud. And to tell him to call them, so they can hear his side of the story. My brother has never worked or filed taxes. He is mentally disabled. So I knew that this was some shady sh*t going on. Nations recovery center needs to be shut down!!!

I was called repeatedly. The representative named Marcia Grant Davis told me that I had an account with Associated Credit Union that was overdrawn and that she was trying to decide whether to close. She said she represented the credit union (not a collection agency). She said that if I made the payments she would not close my account. I paid as agreed and my account was already closed and with a collection agency. More over the account was not credited the payment balance at all!! Do not pay these people!! Pay the account directly! I am not exaggerating. Consider yourself warned.

Number has started calling my new cell they also called old cell harassing me and threatenin me with charges filed if i'm protectin guy named marques malone i told him i dont know malone guy started cursin me callin me b**** then hung up in my ear

This number keeping calling my home/work (same place ha, ha, ha) and threaten to garnish my wages, (what joke because I am self employed) demanding that I pay some bill I have never incurred. I have taken these bozo's to court already and won $1,500.00 from the and they are too stupid to stop! I do have a lawyer and have proven to these idiots that the person they are seeking is not me, but like the person in a previous post have found me and not the person that owes the money.

So to all who read this "BEWARE" if your name is the same as the person they are seeking they will attack you, all because you answered the phone. So do like I do now - when anyone asks "IS YOUR NAME ?????" I simply say no, and when they ask to verify the number they have reached I tell them I just got that phone number the previous week and don't know anything about the person they are seeking. Calls end very after they call to verify that they didn't miss dial I make sure I yell at them - Are you stupid or something I already told you (repeat very loudly)  then hang up....

Several days WILL go by and they WILL call again but this time I don't answer any call that does not have a name attached that I recognize (in this case do).  

Another trick is to go to a good will store and buy an old fax machine, take it home and put it on your home phone, turn it on and leave it on for 30 to 40 days and let it answer your home #. That will slow things way down. I also turn it on when I leave the house so there are no messages left to screen. I tell all my friends to call me on my cell # and I don't give that out to anyone that I don't trust implicitly, and I tell them to "NOT" give my number to anyone without my permission first, (that requires them to hang up and ask).

yes I get this call and they did  leave any message on my answering machine and I called back and get a recording with the system operator  and told them to please stop calling my home and that my  phone is register with the don't call list and I don't who they are or want they want and ask them to stop calling my home I believe this a scam company and have been a lot of this call for a while now and what they to stop calling and harassing my home and my family

NRC or National Recovery...It is a collection agency that uses threats as tactics to get you to pay an old bill.
Has several lawsuits against them for this.  Do not answer them or they will haunt you for the rest of your life.  Do not give out any banking info to them
