Just received a call from this number. It rang 2 times then they hung up. Immediately after they hung up I  received a text from Verizon stating they received returned mail sent to me and to log on to their website and update my address.

It was legitimate. I recently moved and had not updated Verizon with my new mailing address.

How can we stop these people from calling us it is getting so fustrating with these calls

Gota call from this number.  Has to be a scam.  They said they were from Verizon and that my bill had been returned and they needed my address.  I asked them for the address they had on file, and he said he could only confirm my current address.  I told him that I dont get a bill, I do it all online and I just talked to verizon.

Total scam, dont give them any information.

Ok these people calling and claiming to be Verizon are not Verizon nor MCI. There are what's called "a FISHER" NUMBER. The are trying to rob you. Please facebook, gmail, post where ever you can. These #@*/%'s want to empty your and your familys bank accounts and debit/ credit cards. They sound professional but please they will steal from a sickly grandma! Like mine. Verizon will only call from numbers saying verizon first. The #'s are(770-250-0441) 770-250-2067 (614-789-3180) 614-789-2067. There are probably more probably same people so call Verizon let them know. Personaaly i think its emplyees let go after verizon and MCI merged

Ok how dumb do  u think people really are? ? How helpful of you to let us know it Verizon and so a ligit number. . . Hope Verizon finds out where this is...not soon enough

Hey everyone, don't trust this number!!! I get a call from this number and also 770-250-20
82 every once in a while.  Any time I pick up, they pretend to be Verizon.  They ask to speak to my wife but will not tell me why they want to talk to her.  They cannot give me any information to confirm who they are.

Just got a call that I did not answer and had one the other day for the first time. Don't like these "mystery" callers at all

Random call while I was at work, no message. Didn't bother calling back after checking here-- I'm several states away from GA and don't want to bother with talking to someone at an unfamiliar number (assuming they did answer, though from the other comments here, I doubt they would).

the number is MCI Worldcom Communications, inc im going to assume you all have verizons beacuse MCI just merged with verizon hence they are calling you to tell you someyhing that they are offering since they are with verizon now

i recieved a missed call from this number, i've tried calling it back three times now and all i get is a automative message talking about mobile service and then dead air.  i don't know what they want or why they're calling but it's pointless to try to return the call or to see if you can be removed from the list.  they have also called from 770-250-2087.

Who the heck are you and stop harrassing me.
