I have never been contacted by these lowlifes, however I felt compelled to add my 2 cents because I simply despise bullies. First of all: NEVER PAY ANYTHING TO ANYBODY until you have written proof from them FIRST. That written proof should include the total amount of the debt, any payment arrangements you have made with them, and a statement that once you pay the debt will be satisfied.  Do your research...google LaToya Irby; she writes a very good blog about clearing up your debt, and most importantly ~ what our rights are.

Another company acting just like P&A .. Progressive @ 855-204-9017. Same script same motive. Refused address also.

Thug.. if you are a recent employee as you state give us some info such as where Purdie & Assoc is located. Seems like they do not have an address that anyone can verify. They will not take make and the address found they will not sign a certified letter.

Yes u are correct this is a scam. I am a recent employee of this business and I am hear to state facts about the people who work for this company. After the sexual abuse allegations by recent employees against Calvin Milton and lack of leadership I decided to take my talents elsewhere. Although Mr. Purdie was cool he carried a fake life also as well as his companion Milton. These atrocities consist of multiple infidelities and adulteries leading to bad management and business. Do not be confused Chat and Associates and Purdie are a partnership company. However they do not have enough legal backing nor credibility to sustain itself. The tactics that are used are simply an imaginary skit to ''get the money''. This is not an attempt to regain restitution or compensation for lost time. This is more of a warning for the American people to conduct business with the proper and right people. I do highly suggest you do business with honorable fellow Americans such as myself to bring correct closure to your debt.To the spouses and wives of the individuals listed I do apologize if the statements above offend you but since I knew this information it also lead to my departure. The trips to Orlando were of any business relevance including some of the women who have stood before you. These facts are horrible but true and even I was used as an escape goat to wear off suspicions of the cruel acts. So if you have any business I suggest u stop it immediately there are better individuals to do business with learn how to sue them for minor things also by visiting www.ftc.org/gov to read more on FDCPA laws and remember your rights. Lets bring and end to credit and national bankers and life back to America.

My states Attorney General is also still "looking" for them as I filed a complaint. I have never heard of an agency refusing to give a legit address. They are in violation of numerous FDCPA rules. I still have not received notification from them.. afraid I might see your address?? Play by the rules and you might be successful.

Amazing that I sent a certified letter to a possible address and I never received confirmation back.. I am in process of ch13 and if they are wanting $$ in the future I would think they would want to give me their address. It'll be pennies on the dollar but it is better then nothing..

Thank you for that advice.  Mr. Milton called me as well & when i asked him to sens me written verification he said he didnt have too. He said if i didnt send him a good faith payment with my credit card he was sending my paperwork to the authorities.

I just recv'd a call from a man from P&A and he said if I don't call him by tomorrow he will have to take further action. I don't know who these people are and what they hell they want. They can keep calling all day everyday for 50 years and get the ignore button. If i owe something send me some proof in the mail. These people are such scammers...get a life. If I owe sue me then. People have enough to deal with, without having to answer all of the harassing, and scam phone calls that are made to us daily. We could us at least 50 or more blocks or something to keep them all off our phones.HELP STOP CALLS.

I searched a few other # that I had received calls that had "collectors" with almost the same script. None of the other phone #'s were in GA BUT on one some one who paid had a reference city 2 hours away from Purdie & Associates in Cunningham, GA I find it very ironic that 3 #'s with the same "script" and same M.O. Mr Martin, I have never heard a Collector or as you call yourself an investigator (to scare people) be as rude as you are. You refuse to listen and only want to overspeak the other person on the phone. You refuse your address because you are are afraid I might come to your address and kill you. Are you serious? You said that we can not send a payment via the mail either by  a debit card or moneygram. Why so it is impossible to track? You skated all around the FDCPA but you have broken a few. I have since sent 2 complaints off. I am sure you scare people to pay you but that doesn't work all the time. Maybe listen to the people a little and you might make more. You give the good collectors a bad rap who work in this business and have been successful and actually want to work with people. Not a lot of collectors work like you and your co-workers. You thrive on human fear which people will do anything sometimes to get people to stop. I know you will not listen to the post but it makes me feel better and to get it off my chest and mind one last time. Good Luck in future for you and all workers at Purdie & Associates.

If you read my message it stated the message was kleft just like anotehr one I had received. Why was your number "fowarded" prior to going to my phone? What was the original # that was used? I have not received any mailings from you either. By the FDCPA I am to receive that also.

I find it interesting that P&A has an individual review these "who calls me list" to post.. Why is that? Is that part of your investigation? We also have the rigth to investigate you.

Purdie and Associates has never had the number 443-321-4540. If you have done your proper research you would look under the Secretary of State Georgia to know this is a real Corporation. We don't know what kind of phone or what kind of research engine you have. All you have to do is call the FBI or your Local Authorities to find out if this Company is legit. Also you can call your Original Creditor to see where you account is. Again for a limit time we are willing to resolve the situation.

I received a call from Mr Milton yesterday -- when it came across my cell it showed as a "Forwarded Call" same story as everyone else.. to me this sounds like the same "company" that made calls from 443-321-4540 among others that were very heavily accented person who had the same "line" That was the Law offices of Frank Jackson.

The interesting thing as that the call was forwarded but from what #? are they highjacking this Purdie & Assoc #? They ID'd themselves as P&A not Purdie & Assoc.

No matter what your personal opinion is about Purdie and Associates, like any other company, you have both good and bad comments. This company has been in business since 2008 and if you really did your research, you would have known this is a real company and we are also Incorporated. The people that posted the bad comments were upset because they ran from their obligations and were tracked by our investigation department. Milton from Milton & Associates. Debt collector. Called my mother whom I haven't lived with in five years. I called him back and he I was being persued for check fraud. I got a check advance online. That part is true but it was included in my bankrupcy.

this guy calls and says i dont have to pay it all in full but i need to set up a payment plan and send something in today I hung up on him and he calls back and said they will issue a warrent out for my arrest for check fruad and then he won't be able to help me. I do believe that is against the law to threaten someone like that over the phone.

"melvin" called saying its very important and needed to talk to me about a very important matter.  Threatened me with possible jail time if I didn't send his company 700.00 dollars for a check I paid two years ago through another debt collection company.  This is BS.  These companies sell your information back and forth trying to get you to pay multiple times for 1 debt.  If any company calles you, denydenydeny!  They try to intimidate you and loud talk you and overall berate you. Even if you paid your debt or not, claim that you did over and over and ask for their name and number and supervisors name and fax number. Get what information you can from them to report their behinds.
