Just got a call from them asking about coverage for a car that I do not own. When I said that I didn't have that car anymore and how did they get my number -- she said alright - calm down and hung. Very rude. These people should not have access to anyone's information!

Called and asked for me by name. I said I wasn't home. They were curt and hung up. Seemed suspicious.

They call everyday about the same time and never leave a message. What's the point?

I have been getting calls from this number at around 1125 hrs EST for the past couple of days.   Like SSG USMC above, my caller ID says ATLANTA SC INC.   We don't answer, and no message is ever left.
I cannot positively verify the purpose of the call, but I have read on other sites that this is a robo-sales call for one of those "extended vehicle warranty" outfits.

I am definitely on the FTC DO NOT CALL list (which now seems like it may just be a great way for the scheisters of the marketing world to get a solid list of "known good" phone numbers?) but we still get calls from a few that believe they don't need to follow the rules, like "Card Services" (Rachel, I told you never to call me here....lol) and a couple of "Home security" rip-off type businesses.

Atlanta SC, INC.  Called me @ 1151 HRS 11/28/12 My answering machine picked up, but no one said anything. My guess is it is a computer searching for gullible folks that will answer and then they will start calling everyday once someone answers.

Called and claimed they were selling extended auto coverage that would cover me up to 280,000 miles.  They had way too much info about me and my car on file.  Said they would eMail me something and didn't.  I suspect fraud.
