I just had a call from this number and it was Home Depot. they left an automated message about the countertops I bought today letting me no that they would be delivered tomorrow. It was not about a job, which I don't need one at this time.

I used to work for Home Depot, and was laid off due to some issues the store was having with sales in that city....
This had nothing to do with me, nor my on the job performance as I worked overnight stock, and was not involved in sales at all. Still, I felt I had been unjustly dismissed, and sent an Email to the CEO asking for clarification of the problem involved. I received no response through my Email, but I did get a call from this number, and when I called it back, had no idea who called, and the automated system that answered just kept giving me a bunch of options that did not coincide with my question of who called me that I missed. So, I kept giving wrong answers until they finally transferred me to an operator who it turned out had no ability to answer anything about the company, which I found to be strange.
I am concerned that this was a call from the CEO's office, and I missed it, but I have no clue how to find who tried to call me!!

I got the call (although it was from a different number, an 866 prefix) early this morning, but told them it was a bad time, since I already had an interview in the store, and have a second one tomorrow.  I am going to ask the store manager if I have to call back this automated number too.  It doesn't seem like I should need to if I had interviews with the store manager.

It's Home Depot employment. I applied for a job for them and they called for a phone screening, so it's legit. They WILL NOT leave a message if you don't answer.

I had applied to a ton of jobs with Home Depot and know from previous experience that they do call from their Atlanta headquarters. (Previous time might have applied too late, as really they do their most aggressive recruiting for the Spring/Summer building seasons where they easily hire a quarter-million seasonal people.) Might also be used for deliveries, judging from above commenter. But definitely their hiring number. Though obviously would be nice if it wasn't such a far away area code or if they chose an 800 number.

all these posts on here claim that this number -770-433-8211 is about a JOB or interview with them (Home Depot) then why did this number come up on my cell phone when I HAVE NEVER ever have filled out a APPLICATION with home depot. I wish someone would explain better. Also I do not shop there either. I always shop at LOWES home improvement centers. so are you people SURE that the number is who you say it is?????

Got a call while i was out but there was no message

I had a call from this number, I did not answer and they left no voicemail. Seeing that other people claim it is Home Depot, that would make sense in my case because we had a huge issue involving a Home Depot product that was recently resolved so I suspect it was pertaining to that. Like what Meme said, applications, customer issues etc, that sounds right to me.

This was from Home Depot staffing.  I retired from there as an exempliary employee and thought I would go back as a part timer. I was asked by my old store to apply again.  I got such a run around that I regretted re applying. Frank needs to fix his HR, they are missing good people.
