I called them back to inform them that the phone they called belonged to my 12 yr old daughter & there was no way she was being investigated. Asked them to remove her # from their call list. The the lady was rude so I cussed her out. It's a scam do not fall for it. There's a special place in hell for these creatures!

No its a c*** I've talked to him before I started blocking the number. Its a criminal c*** scam to get money from you I even turned him into the police but it must not have worked.

I believed these people a couple years ago and was scammed out of $700.00, I believed them they were using info about a bill I had in collections, I have been calls steady from different numbers all stating the same thing, it is a scam, I talked to my local court and police officers and were assured that they cannot threaten you with jail and things to that extent please disregard these calls do not call them back just ignore them

This is the second time I got a call from these people. I refuse to pay them anything until I get proff from them.

Some mush mouth I couldn't understand very well, even the name of who left the message, But it was something about fraud. Threatened something I could not understand if I ignored the call. Never said who they thought they were calling either.

These people are resourceful and not legitimate. The messages are the same. Threatening litigation. We get messages on a regular basis on both our office lines and my cell. I never return the calls. They are predators. I have reported them to federal and state AG offices. Of course the AG (my sister is a fed.)  says that unless the case is $100MM + and that money has been stolen form us they do not have time to investigate. FBI says the same thing thing as small business owners shoyld know how to protect themselves is their attitude. These criminals are trolling lists of small business owners, purchasing lists of those who have  judgments, and collections. Ignore them with impunity. Do not respond is what I do. If they did get me on the phone I would  tell them that I am reporting them to their local police for telephone harassment which is a 3rd degree misdemeanor and that they are to cease having telephone contact with me immediately and put their fraudulent charges in writing. Something needs to be done about these irritating jack a***s... I will probably change my number...or will have to block my number... Why doesn't The Attorney General follow up on these people.... I have no debt and owe no one...they are like slime...

these guys are non stop idiots and still calling me as well.....a little advice use a cell phone app called mr number and block the call and hang up .....it should stop them from calling

The caller has changed his number multiple times now he is using a 770 area code he use to use an 800 then 888. when people block the number after a while he then changes the area code. The caller is a fake debt collector trying to scare the person to call and give him private information. Do not not scammed by this caller.

same thing here. got calls all week from local number, turns out it was the local court. when i called the clerk with the info given, they knew nothing ablut it and said there was not compleint there. This has been going on for months now. Said they tried to serve me but no  one has showed up as someone is always at home! NOw this Candace Carter woman is calling. She sounded "MAD"

A woman who said her name is Candace Carter called a relative's phone and left a scary message for me. I called back but there was no record of my name. Since I would not give the number they called, there was no record. No idea what this is about but I am livid.

A woman by the name Candice Carter from this number 1-404-900-3817 called me saying they are from the National Investigation Bureau, that a legal complaint was forward to their office involving my socical security# and gave my last 4 digits. She left the number of 770-450-6337 ext 4609 and that I or my attorney should call her today or she will forward all the documents to the county of where I live.  I have recieved numerous calls of this type, my daughter, my husband, my parents threatening me of court procedures.  How do I stop this.  My mother is getting nervous wrecked because she believes its true although I told her it is not.  I have looked up the company's name online and its not even their number.

This caller is a scam according to many and now they are calling my phones. I want them to be removed. They do not say who they are, who the company is and are rude and threatening. They also call under various numbers, but all appear to come from Georgia.

I just got the same thing, it seems like every week there is a new one out there. It's unfortunate that some people obviously don't realize this is a scam and are continuously taken advantage of. There should be an easier way of stopping this kind of fraud.

Part of the "Inspector Taylor" stating you need to call them for possible check fraud ring. Never stated company name but mentioned check n go. Funny thing is I hadn't used check n go for over 10 years and never had a bank account with who he stated. another scammer looking to gather information.

Yes it is a scam they scare you with jail to get money out of you. See if you ever applied for a credit card online or a loan, they got your info and want to scare you into paying. My attorney general in Mississippi said this is a scam and bill collectors can not put you in jail. So I turned them in.

I get a phone call every week from someone that claims the same things as mentioned here, check fraud, but they don't seem to know who I am or that I live a long way from Georgia.  I am glad to find out it is a scam.  Thanks!

What does a black man sound like? Not to cause issues but that really rubbed me wrong. My boss (who's white) thought it was a white guy who may have been a lawyer. Just keep to the basics, the extra that is unknown is skeptical and unhelpful.
