Called 2 pm, 06.29.13, did not speak.  after 15 seconds I said goodbye and hung up.

As many of the other posters said, I got a call from this number and when I answered the call disconnected. I get calls from this number, or a similar one, maybe once per month and nobody is ever on the line. It comes up on caller ID as Atlanta, Ga. This organization had been doing this for many years. I don't really think that they are helping veterans at all, just another phone scam.

770-452-8030  -- My caller ID just identifies this as "Atlanta GA".  I picked up on 6th ring and they just hung up on me.  They are likely registered as a charity or civic organization as a means to skirt around the "DO NOT CALL" registry --- which I have been on for years, and which has proven WORTHLESS!

At my home I have been getting a lot of calls from this number and with know one on the line. These people need to stopped.

They call me at least once a month. I know who they are and don't answer. Apparently there are several of these organizations, or it's the same one using different names, and they pass around phone numbers, especially if you have donated or bought from one of them before.

Called on cell this morning about 10:25, rang twice, but hung up before I could answer.  Nothing except number - no caller ID for person or organization.  Based on the messages here, I marked the number as "junk," so that if the number calls again, I'll have a clue.

IF, and I repeat that is a might big IF ---- they filed for registration as a non-profit or a charity organization (whether they actually do what they say or not - nobody checks very deeply when approving their registration),they do not have to abide by the Do Not Call Registry rules.   They are allowed to call anybody and everybody. The best we can do is catch them in a blatant lie, or for being coercism or harassing in nature, and report that.

Caller asked for me by name and hung up when I answered.

Hang up after answering machine came on.

It's the Georgia Vietnam Veteran Alliance looking for donations.

They are also calling from 770 452 9620 I think I bought mace from them in the past - I did get it. But I am now on the do not call registry so this isn't right.

the number was 770-452-8030 and called at 7:45pm. no one answered and sounded like someone hung up.  second time today - only listed at ATLANTA, GA - today is Sunday Dec 21, 2008.  Man I would love to hank their phone lines outside their building or location!

It's the Georgia Vietnam Veterans Assocation, or they claim to be. My number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I can block this number and they have a host of other numbers they use. Trying to sell mace, tear gas, anything for a buck.I think they are not legit.
