I just received a call from Tom Johnson with TLA Law Firm. He asked for my boss by full name. A name that I have only heard his mother call him! So, I told "Tom" he was not in a took a message. He repeated his name and who he was with and a call back number of 678-720-0905 ext. 16 and with the message "I have good news for you!" I then Googled the law firm and found this, thank goodness!

Well, Andrew Gould called me,told me if I qualify that he will have a tax specialist come out and show me some information. I said as long as its free then ok. I met with the specialist for about 20 min. After the meeting, I was very pleased because even I understood how much money they would save me. so bottom line The FIRM of TLA helped greatly. It saved me about 200k last year. It is worth the look. Note: I had the same account for about 20 years he told me this is worth it. I say do not say no till you check it out. let them show it to you its information that will save you thousands of dollars.

GOT A call from Andrew, yes i took the meeting i got the info they did not charge me anything. i had my Cpa check it out he told me the info is a goldmine. We are now happy they brought it . They did not charge me at all. my CPA SAID  I WILL SAVE ABOUT 80K thanks Andrew. I suggest to anyone take the meeting. if you are a owner do it

Tom Johnson just called from "the law offices of TLA' saying he need to speak to my boss, who he called by name and when I as his EA asked what it was concerning he said it was "concerning a personal matter" and left this number with ext. 16 to call back.  I google TLA and got this website - thanks.  He's obviously changed his name from Marvin to Tom!!!

I just received a call from Tom Johnson at TLA law firm. he used number; 770-500-3049, and was also very vague, wanting to speak to my boss. Smelled fishy

I got a call for my boss today from Tom Johnson with TLA Law Firm. He asked for my boss by his full name (Always a red flag; my boss goes by a nickname). I told Mr. Johnson he was not in and as his assistant I asked the nature of his call. He told me it was "personal". I told him as his "Personal Assistant" there's nothing here that I don't know about and if he wanted a return call I'd have to know what it was about.

He informed me that it was "Good News!" and insisted he call him back at 678-720-0905. So glad I saw this website. His number goes in the trash and I'll let him know my boss won't be returning his call when he calls back.

Marvin Johnson, claiming to work with a group of attorneys, called to speak with our business owner, of whom he mentioned by name. I took Marvin's phone #, ext 37, thinking it may be a legitimate call.  As the owner's personal assistant, I then asked law firm's name and the nature of the call, but he refused to divulge any information, saying it was private.  Even after telling him that I must screen calls, he ordered me to have my boss call him.  Google is an awesome way to gather information on phone #s and scams.

"Andrew Gould" called me saying it was confidential...read above for the details....what a scam.

Got a call from a Tom Johnson today for the owner of our business.  Tom said he was from TLA Law Firm and that nothing was wrong today it is good news.  The phone number was different than the others; 678-720-0905 extension 16.  This is also an Atlanta area code.  So they are changing it up a little.

Tom Johnson at ext 16 is still at it!  Smooth talker.  Said it was personal and that he had good news.  (sure, sure).  Glad I found this web info.

oct 9 2009 just received call from Tom Johnson @ TLA Law Firm, requesting to speak to owner by calling him by his first name.  Call came from 770-500-3045 which caller ID showed as 'Georgia'.  Said to have owner return call to 678-720-0905 x 16.  Matter was of a private nature and he could not reveal anything else.

I work for this firm and have helped thousands of business owners reduce their tax outlays. Folks, the tax code is so over-complicated and written in a manner that punishes productivity and job creation leading to overall lower revenues to the IRS. There are 5 million words in the core tax code and two or three times as much relevant documentation like case-law and tax court opinions. How can ANY businessperson or CPA know EVERYTHING in about 5 bibles worth of reading? They can't. Why do the big corps have a multi-million dollar tax law planning department? Because that is what it takes to pay your fair share and not one dime more. We fill the niche of allowing you to outsource and share in the cost of such a team when it is not cost-effective to have your own proper in-house team.

If you are an entrepreneur who is into working to earn money for you and your family, then you are part of the "economic engine" (private sector) that creates 2/3 of jobs and 2/3 of IRS revenue. We got a call from the almost famous "Marvin Johnson".  He asked for an owner that was two prior to the current owner so he's obviously working off an old list.  Sketchy is right!  The guy was evasive and acted like he had some legal business.  "He works for the TLA Law Firm"  was what he said so I guess he didn't represent himself as a lawyer, but came damn close!  Hang Up on "Marvin Johnson".

Received a call today from Marvin Johnson from TLA which he told me stands for Tax Law Associates, same situation as others, yet he left a message with a return phone number of 404-503-5680.

"Marvin T" at ext 24 called here asking for owner by name, and claiming to be an attorney for "TLA- a group of attorneys". Appears to be a scam.

I got a call from a person named David Anderson who told my secretary he "knew me" ... which was only the first lie ... check out ripoffreport.com for more information about this firm.

same as above comment. called today and for the last few days. stating his name was marvin johnson and he was from tla law frim. but he could not divulge any more info over the phone. he called from 6787200916 and told me to have the owner return the call to the 7704576881 number

i got a call, very bad message "I'm Marvin Johnson, wif TLA, a group of..uh..attorneys".  Obviously a poor attempt at some type of telemarketing program targeting the business owner.  Interesting that he gave me 770-457-6881 call back, but the caller id says 770-500-3045

Same as above. I asked Marvin what it was in reference to and he said nothing was wrong and it wasn't project specific. I took his number, did some research and found sites saying it was a scam.

JUST GOT A CALL FROM MARVIN.  IT IS A SCAM.

They call ALL the time.  Saying they save company's hundreds of thousands as a tax professional.  His name is ED BANES (sp?) and said he is with TLA, Inc. I just happened to google the number and got this website.  Love it, thanks.
