A lady called me about 8:30am and asked for my wife. I asked if I could get a message, she said to have her call me.  Carol Foster was the name she gave but left no phone number.  Being that I didn't have caller id, I called *69 to get the number.  It rang busy everytime that I called it.

This person called, and I didn't answer. Then I recieved a call from my neighbor on my cell phone, she said that this person called her, asked for her by name and said to call "Karen" on her cell phone. It was extremly strange and creepy. She hung up after saying that to my neighbor. When we tried to call it back it was busy. It showed up as "B. Stephens" on our caller id's.

Lady called asked for my wife by name i tried to find out what the call was in reference to she said rudly tell her to call karen and hung up.

Most strange. Like the other comments here, a lady phoned and asked for my wife (who was away). I asked who was calling pls? I believe she said Karen Foster and again asked to spk to my wife. I said this is her husband, can I help?....and she responded something like "well, HUSBAND (in a most mockiong tone), you can give her....I promptly hung up...surprised and almost infuriated. The CID said STEPHENS B. This was about 10 AM on a weekday. I believe this party has called before, we'd used A/M screening, never a msg.

same thing just happened to my husband. She asked for "Mrs. ________" (using my last name) and when my husband replied, "may I ask who's calling" she said, "Karen Foster, have her call me". And hung up immediately after she said that. The number showed up as 770-465-2920, and said Stephens B. on my Caller ID. WTF???

Called my husband this am and asked for me and then hung up. I called back from my office # and the line is busy..

Husband answered the phone a/b 8:30p.m. and asked for me by name, then he said who is calling and she said Karen you idiot and hung up. He tried calling back but number busy. Then I googled this number and found all these comments.  Need to get the phone co. involved in this or something....

Some rude person called up.  Got my our name wrong so I knew they were a telemarketer or something.  Claimed to be Karen Austin.  Though I guess from the other postings I might have heard it wrong.  Said she was not a telemarketer and then started yelling, calling me stuid among other things.

Yep...same MO on my caller as well.  Same name, same number.  All searches come up dry.  I also blocked the number.

Caller ask for my wife by name!  When I asked who she was she said Linda Foster then rudely said if this was the right number to have my wife call back and hung up!

Woman named Linda asked for my spouse and when I told her spouse was not home, this woman asked that that spouse call her back - then hung up.  This person very rude and abrupt.  Sounds like one of those "earn money while at home" deals akin to an envelope-stuffing job.  When I called this number I got "this line is busy - for a charge of $1.20 we will continuously redial this number for you"

Assertive, border-line rude female caller, gives her name as Karen Foster, asks for my wife by name (first+last), becomes aggravated when asked to identify herself, argumentative even.  Finally hangs up after ordering me to inform my wife of her call.  "She has my cell number."  Click.

Yhe caller asked to speak with me and hung up on my husband after being told I was not available.  She was very rude.

Called ask to speak to specific person, advised her she is not in, ask would she like to leave a take message- "Tell her  Rina called" then hang up.  Caller is vert short and sounded angry.

A crazy sales person who leaves obnoxious messages

The call comes in and there is just a tone every 2-3 seconds. It does not sound like a fax machine, Just single tones, not the same as the buttons on the phone when pushed.
