They called claiming I was in the final drawing for 10,000 and they were pleased that I enjoyed reading ESPN and The Readers Digest Large print.They were also gonna throw in a trip for 2 to Las Vegas.

Said I owed money for medical debts in Arizona?  Don't know the number, and didn't check it out.  Don't know the area code.  But, the number I wrote down was 770-491-8140.  Variation.  Said they were collecting for a hospital that I've been to for ER visits here, which is true, but, when I asked for the account number to write down to mail a Western Union Money Order, they got angry; nasty with me and cursed; yelled at me and refused to give it.  They couldn't even give me an address???  They sounded foreign, like they were African or Indian?

They are like Roaches! : If you see one, know there are others!  They are in Michigan!  I have been called since 2011.  They told me that I won some money ($10,000) in a "contest" related to magazines ( "Vogue" and "Bride's" ) that I haven't read for over 20 years (I'm 42) and they acted like they wanted to "thank" me for being "such a loyal and great customer" (yeah, over 20 years later??? who runs YOUR "customer service" ? Cookie Monster?) and even told me excitedly, "Yes! Congrats! Write this down, okay? My name is Nancy Schuller, and I'm with Frost Net Publishing.  You've won $10,000 and that's YOURS!  You don't have anything to do, so that's yours!  The money will come to your house in a check after January 1, 2014." and she went on and on about it. Well, here it is January 9,2014 and I haven't gotten a damn thing.  I called  770-492-2964 which was supposed to be some kind of "Customer Service" number the end of November, or the first part of December, because "Nancy" told me to.  I had been called by two more people, telling me that prior to Thanksgiving, I had "won" $25,000 again, instead of the $10,000 and that I had to "verify" some stupid s*** that I hadn't been asked before.  All in all, it's a lie and stupid s***.  I've been in touch with the FBI and the FTC.  They act like they won't do anything, but, I'm going to keep harassing them about this.  I think everyone else should too, and take notice of any numbers; dates, times and names.  Don't necessarily hang up; talk to people and see what info you can get.  Thanks for posts and blogging because normally when you keep your mouth, others don't know and you DO help someone by telling what's happened to you.  Thanks!  Smith in MI.

just had a call from a Bob Harris with frost, net publishers to tell me I had won 10k and the drawing would be on Dec 30, 2013. Had the real southern gent accent.  I was selected to represent the winner from Florida and his boss would call me to confirm the ccn# that Bob Harris gave me. I also won a $1000.00 grocery voucher and a diamond watch. LOL. Sure enough, his boss called, wanting my credit card info for a new subscription of reader's digest. I told him to bill me, that I do not give any info over the phone. There was silence on the other end and he was gone.Just because I am a senior citicen I am not stupid. Lock them all up.

I too just got a call from Frost Net Publishers, never heard of them. I won 10k, after his spiel and BS, his "boss" called, wanted my credit card info for the subscription of reader's digest, I thought they stop producing this magazine. Guy named Mike Morgan just called me from this number 770-491-8312, asked me for me by name. When I asked him what this was about, he hung up.

They have changed the number, now they call using 770-491-8326 and there work number is 770-491-8364 and they ask you to leave a message, but never call back.

Sweepstakes Publishers clearing house.  I told them I did not sent an entry.  He said he had it right
in front of him.  I told him I have not even gotten an entry from Publisher Clearing House for years.  He was rude and wanted to argue........Ignorant stupid people.  Why don't they go find a real job.  Get rid of these crooks.

I, too, got a call that asked specifically for someone else in my household.  I replied that he wasn't currently available, and the caller bluntly hung up the phone.  I called the number back, intending to blast a few thoughts to such an indignant caller; but instead, I got five rings, and then a recorded message that said "The mailbox number that you are trying to reach is not in service.  Good Bye!"  I intend to put this number in the Blocked Call list, AND to report it to my state's Attorney General office--ASAP.  I hope everyone else who gets such a call does likewise.  The Caller I.D. states the company's name is Publishing Fros, but I prefer to think of it as another word for Con Artists.

a man asked for me by name when i told him it was me he hung up. i called back a couple of times with no luck but 1 time he picked up and hung up but i did hear a couple of people talking sounded like all guys.

This person has called 2 times, and when I answer the phone, he hangs up. It is getting frustrating, trying to conduct a business with Jerks like this bothering me!! Please arrest him!!

called, asked for my mom; i asked if I could help - man hung up on me;  I called back and again was hung up on - SCAM

My dad got mixed up in buying sweepstakes reports for millions he thought he won that much and started taking some of these calls. One caller had him go to his bank and take out $5000 to wire them.  I got it stopped before the transfer.  Be very careful of the sweepstakes.  He was getting and average of over 20 letters a day.  They sell the mailing lists and the con men buy them.

I got a call from this number the other day man asked for me by name and also questioned me about a sweepstakes I did not enter then quickly hung up!

Man on the line asked for my father by name, when I told him I was his son he quickly hung up. The same thing happened the day before from a different Atlanta area code. I have delt with phone scams before and this smells like one.
