THIS GUY HERE "FRANK" IS MOST LIKELY MR CALHOUN HIMSELF.. HE REGULARLY CHECKS THESE POSTINGS.. IN BETWEEN HIS OWN JAILS STINTS.. LOOK HIM UP ON THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS WEBSITE.... TIMOTHY CALHOUN.. YOU'LL SEE WHY HE IS SO DESPERATE AND WHERE YOUR MONEY IS REALLY GOING

call them back and tell them to cease and desist calling you and that you're reporting them to the buffalo, NY police department .. thats where he is operating from

THIS IS YET AGAIN ANOTHER SCAM BY TIMOTHY A. CALHOUN FROM BUFFALO, NY... HE'S A LOCAL CRACKHEAD WHO WILL GET YOUR INFORMATION FROM HIS EMPLOYER.. STICK IT IN HIS POCKET AND CALL YOU OR HAVE ONE OF HIS GIRLFRIENDS CALL YOU UNDER ASSUMED ALIASES.  HE IS A TOTAL SCAM ARTIST AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. HIS AFFILIATION WITH THE LIKES OF DOUG MACKINNON HAS BEEN LONG DOCUMENTED. AND THIS AMBER NAGEL IS PROBABLY ONE OF HIS MANY CRACKHEADED BABY MAMAS. NO LEGITIMATE COMPANY WILL HAVE OFFICERS CALLING YOU OR BE OPERATION FROM DISPOSABLE CELL PHONES! TOTAL SCAM DON'T GIVE THEM A DIME

I also received a call from "Officer" Marc Logan giving me the story that I owe $400 plus interest or I'll have a warrant put out for my arrest in TX and they will extradite me. I haven't made the mistake of taking out a payday loan in over seven years, and all the ones I did were taken care of and paid in full. Payday loans are scams enough in themselves. Now you've got d-bags like this Logan guy and his partner Amber Nagel who has a Florida cell # but says she's in NY trying to rip you off. I also contacted my local police dept. and was told to send these people nothing. They said it's a scam, you can't be sewed criminally by debt collecters, only civilly. I must say he puts on a fairly convincing act at first until you actually take a step back and realize how ludicrous the whole thing sounds. I really like how he plays his police scanner in the background so you think he's a real officer. The two numbers I received calls from are different from those I've seen on the page so they must switch them out. Here are the ones they called me from.

Just had this happen to me the only thing is, I did send 100 dollars and when I made a mistake on the state to send it to I called western union to correct it and western union had the name Timothy Calhoun flagged. So thats good at least they have it flagged and I am geting my money back. Marc login is the guy thats been contacting me along with Amber nagel.

This is a scam! Do not give them any money. he days he's with the Police, but he's not. Ask him for his badge number, he won't give it to you. Not only did I call the police department in Texas, where the area code for the phone # is, I called my local police department. Owing money is a civil thing, not crimson, so you can not be arrested. You can even look up what rights you have against debt collectors and it will say that. But he is NOT a debt collector anyway. I did not ever take a loan out, even checked my credit report and it was not there. If you ask him for specific information on the debt, he freaks out. If he were a real debt collector, he would have all the information. If you're panicking, just call the Police Department in Texas and your local police repayment for verification. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. I'm in Utah, his number is in Texas, and they want money sent to New York without giving any real information on the "case". Officer Mark Logan is not a police officer and you will not be arrested. The company they said I took the loan out for doesn't even exist. Don't be fooled.

They called my mother's house and left a message for me.  The lady who left the messages called from a wireless number and her name was Amber Nagel 954-205-7837.  She said I needed to call Officer Marc Logan at 940-366-4131.  When I contacted him he told me he was an investigator who is trying to get a statement or collect money owed to a company.  He said this company told him they never recieved the two payments of 550.00 last January that I had agreed to pay them.  I remember dealing with this last January but I was sure the payments went through but wasn't 100% at that moment so I said I am willing to pay that amount.  He said he would email me the information on how to pay it and that it had to be with a western union.  Well I went and checked my old bank statements and the two payments had been taken out like agreed by a company called The Viking Group.  When I called him back and told him he transferred me to a lady whom said this Viking Group is under lawsuit because they were deemed frauds.  Then she transferred me back and Officer Logan asked what I wanted to do.  I said I do not want to pay it again and that I have the proof that it has been paid.  He said ok he would tell the client.  He calls back to tell me that the client wants to go ahead with the supeona and take me to court.  I ask what the clients name is and what is the contact information for them because I want to call them directly and deal with this.  He tells me the website is quickestcashadvance.com  but he has no number or case number for them.  So I set about looking up info online and of course I find no contact info but I do see a lot of reports of scams and a BBB rating of F.  So I call him back and tell him what I did and didn't find and he seemed to get frustrated with me.  He said "I will tell the client you are not paying and you will not hear from me again."  I said I do not mind dealing with him but that I do want a direct contact to the company to get this dealt with today because I do not have time to take off for court and I want to get this all cleared up. He cheered up and said "Oh so you do want to pay this today."  I said no I am not paying anything today because I have already paid it and I have proof.  Again he got upset and said thats fine I will tell them and you will not be hearing from me again.  Thats when this all seemed fishy to me.  Then looking at the email he sent of where to send the payments it is to this Timothy Calhoun in Buffalo NY.  When I googled his name I got this site.  On that email the clients name is not even the same that he told me and not spelled right at all.  Ill let yall know if anything comes of this and I will be calling to report to my local police and the BBB.

I just got the same call from this Chris Hall guy threatening me too, he called my job though, is he for real or is it just another scammer?

i  recieved a call from officer hall tellin me i had 2 charges aganst me....the next day i had my local p.d at my house tellin me that i was being arrested for check fraud.I HATE this guy for what he;s done to me...i lost my job and was incarcerated for 3 days until my uncle could bail me out..since then i have gotten another job  and payed this STUPID bill....So if you getta call from this guy my suggestion to you would be dont take this guy lightly he is FOR REAL!

I received a phone call this past weekend about the same thing. He called me five times back to back before leaving a message. He told me the same stuff about being locked up. He gave the information about the 716 number. He got very rude with me when I started asking questions about his badge number, which county he worked out of told me good luck and good bye then hung up on me.

I also received a call from this person but a different phone number 940-366-3374 stating the exact same thing as well as the same attorney info. He has been calling me for 2 days harrassing me. I too contacted local police department. He said he was in Georgia, but the phone number is a Texas number and it is a cell phone.

any calls recieved by christopher or jeff hall are scam payday loan collections i recieved a call from 770 547 2325 a while back i did not give any info nor send any money i was threatened with being locked uped  so i called my local police dept and they advised me theres no such persons i did a little research my self on line under the name and found various complaints he tried to tell me i had to pay the money back in either western union or money gram to a buffalo ny attoney timothy calhoun looked that name up too no such attorney . also gave me a 716 area code in buffalo ny  number to call another fake attorney by the name of douglas carter and again no such attorney please report any calls to the website stop a crime they will take all information and send reports to the authorities of the states affiliated with this person the more complaints they get the more they can do something about it this is fraud any money sent to theses people does not clear ur payday loan debt!!! we need to stop this many people r being scamed out of money and the nerve to do it around the holidays is just sickning!  other number i found affiliated with this person 8062818166
