These scammers call daily. They want to come out to change our modem for the 'new Uverse' and I told them we don't want it.  Each time they go into some diatribe about how our bill will be cheaper, yada yada yada.  They claim they're AT&T yet caller ID says Americom.  They start asking questions and I say "If you were really with AT&T you'd already know this.  I tell them to email me with proposal and I'll consider it.   They say "We don't have email".  I say "You're AT&T and you have no email?"   These people are liars and scammers.   One did say he'd send an email and of course, no email arrived.   Just a bunch of losers.  If only we had the ability to block evvery call that we receive such as this one.  

these people (different person every time) claim to be with AT&T.  if you listen long enough they eventually need your SS#.  not gonna do it!  I've been nice for a year now, but the nice guy has left the building.

They called and said they wanted to come out and upgrade our modem,  I haven't heard anything about the phone company saying they were going to use another company to send people out and upgrade modems, so I'm not doing anything unless the phone company themselves send out a letter and I call them back.

I was told they were calling on behalf of AT&T and they wanted to change our our fiber optic DSL for Uverse.  We've had uverse for over 4 months.  They called the previous week and I told them the same thing and to remove our number from their database.  Guess they don't listen.

Called and sounded very convincing, but at the end asked for my Social Security Number - not the last 4 - the WHOLE number!

Answered call and no one was on the other end.  I left line open and it started ringing so I decided to see if anyone would answer.  After a couple of rings a voice recording came on that said "it is not necessary to dial 1".  Strange, because they called me!  

Caller, Mike Bryant, asked for the person in charge of our AT&T account. I asked which account, Land-line, Cell etc..
he said Internet. I said we had AT&T U-Verse, and he said "great, thanks". and hung up.

Unfortunately for you, companies are not covered by the Do Not Call list. Business to business calls are specifically  permitted by the DNC legislation. It was crafted solely to protect residential and personal numbers from receiving sales calls. Telemarketers knowingly calling a business number do not have to check against the DNC database before calling.  This information can be found in the Information for Businesses link on the DNC website.

Tried to tell me that U-Verse is new.  Funny our company has had U-Verse for over 5 years.
Our company has been placed on the National Do-Not-Call list  and supposedly the AT&T Do-Not-Call list.

They called our company about our AT&T internet; I asked if they were actually AT&T and he said YES! they called frequently and when I did let the rep speak with the owner of our company who is also our IT guy and the owner started asking a lot of technical questions the rep said he would have his supervisor call back; no supervisor called but another rep with same company called this morning acting like he knew nothing about previous phone calls; owner got on phone and let him know how upset he was, maybe they won't call back!

SCAM. Do NOT talk to these fools.

She said she was calling on behalf of Verizon.
Sales call

They called the place where I work and were sent to my voice mail and no message was left. We are in Texas and the number is out of Georgia.

They called our business and told me they were with Verizon and wanted to talk to the person that handles the acct I told them that person (me) does not take solicitations call. He said we are just going to fax over info on a new plan can I have the fax #.  I responded "if you are verizon you know the fax number - goodbye"

Open line with no conversation...kept saying "hello"...no answer back so I hung up.

They called us - when no one answered, their recording kept repeating "Please hold for the next available associate" - over and over and over again.  We did NOT call them, they called us!!!  Filled up our answering machine - and when I called back, they said a superior would have to call me.  Wanted my e-mail which I declined, I do not need to get e-mails in addition to the phone calls.

didn't answer....just listened.....she finally said:  your telephone is overdue, bye.  (my bill has never been overdue).....what is their purpose?

They called and the are harrasing us every single day of our life i am sick of them calling ang calling us
