They said it was a recorded line and that they needed to verify some information. Then they asked for someone named "Carleena" and I said they had the wrong number. Then, some guy said something about mailing a package to Carleena.

I have written these people asking them donot call our home or cell # deal with me in writing only but they keep doing it.I have invisible ilnesses nad bad heart too so they need to stop or I willreport tehm to an atorney ASAP this has  happend about 4 times  last weeknad twice this week ARGH wish they would stop

Got call from this number. They are a collection agency Nationwide credit.

yep they called - thecaller id says nationwide. they asked for a person who dos not exist here. the guy said his name was frank -would never say his last name. sounded like a towel-head... so funny really. i told him if he calls here again i would turn the caller id info over to my attorney adn his company would be prosecuted! then he hung up

I have them down to 15% right now.

i keep getting this number and yes they are 3rd party collectors. but be aware if they cant find you at the number they keep calling, they will try to get what ever number you have listed, even if its your mothers home number.so be aware....

Some how, they got my number and were asking for personal information about my brother.  When I inquired why they were asking, they said "it is a personal matter."  When they asked for their contact info again, I told them I would need to know the nature of the business before I disclose private information.  They then hung up.

this number calls me about every other day but hangs up when i answer!

They've been calling me almost every day for a month. Since I don't know anyone from Atlanta, I never pick up. Today, I picked up and the guy on the line asked for David ______. When I told him he had the wrong number, he asked me if I know David. When I said no, he asked who he was speaking with and I hung up on him.

This is Nationwide Credit. They have obviously outsourced this debt collection department to India, which I am so sick and tired of. The communications among the many I have spoken to regarding different clients is horrendous. 10 minutes wasted just to let them know that yes we rep the client and I will have to get back to them regarding the settlement offer. Just because you offer a settlement doesnt mean someone is going to take it, especially if they are going to file bankruptcy.

Just got a call from the same number ( on home and cell ).... no message left.

They called claiming that someone name Angela Taylor was a business associate of mind.  I told them I have no business associate and I've never heard of this person. When I tried to get information about this person claiming to be a business associate, they hung up.
