If you signed up to do paid online surveys, one of the surveys had a participation offer of a free financial planning e-book from Focus on the Family.  In order to receive the e-book, you have to agree to complete a free debt analysis over the phone.  This number that keeps calling is the debt analysis people.  I'm always leery of giving my personal info over the phone or internet, but you won't get the e-book until you finish the promotional requirement of doing the debt analysis.  I didn't know this # either until looking it up here, but now a couple of posters identified them, I will pick up next time they call.  Just DON'T give them your social security or bank card numbers or your work phone!  Only tell them what you owe to what kind of creditor.  Also, DO NOT agree to any debt relief programs they offer!  Just say NO, otherwise it will cost you!  I will tell them I can work out a budget on my own with all the free info available online, thank you, and please remove my phone number from their database.

They call very often and never leave a message.  Then in the few times I pick up and say hello, they hang up.  What are they getting out of this call if they dont leave a message and dont talk to someone who picks up?

It is from filling out something for a free e-book on the Focus on the Family website.  You check the box to allow them to call for a free debt analysis.  As soon as I hit send they called me.  They called a few times a day for a week and now about every other day.  I knew that when they called not even 5 minutes after I hit submit, I do not want to talk to them.

I filled out one of the forms from money for life. they called later but I did not recognize the number and forgot they were suppose to call so did not answer. However, I did know they were going to call because it tells you so on the page you give your info and number.  I also know this phone call is not new information because I have seen their ad several times and it has always said they will call, that was one of the reasons I was hesitant to complete the form in the past.  So in their defense I don't feel they should be blasted bec of our misunderstandings. I don't recall if the number is listed on their page but it would be nice to at least know to expect a call from Georgia.  That is how it showed on mine anyhow.

"YES" This man keeps calling & is highly rude talks very fast I can't get a word in, he keeps calling my job ask to talk to HR talk about how I am in debt.  He was told to stop harassing me he does not stop!! reported him to FTC.......Etc.

Yes, I received a message from "Money for Life". I think it's horrendous that it wasn't made clear that we would get a phone call. I believed I would be getting an email with information. I can't believe Focus on the Family would do something like this. Most people would never fill out the form knowing they would get a phone call. I was about to donate to Focus on the Family. After this shock I will put my money elsewhere. I have always had a great deal of respect for Focus on the Family, but this was disgusting.

same here, not sure how to get them to stop, they  are trying to get personal information and steal identity

 For the Past Several Days i have been getting Phone calls from the number. They call from 6am to 8 or 9pm Daily on a Personal Restricted Cell Phone. I gave this user/caller several warning to Please Stop Calling me and that person failed to Stop. I have already filed a complaint with the Government concerning this call. The More they keep calling me and wasting my time the more they will pay for my cell bill. My Advice would be the next time you get a call from this number Please Call the Local/State Police and file harassment charges against this company or who ever is calling you.

EVERYONE ~ It is a company called Money for Life. They are trusted by Focus on the Family. Is there a possibility you have filled out a short form for a free personal debt analysis and a Money 4 Life free coaching book. I requested the free information and they called me within less than 5 min. I can't imagine this company would call you unless you filled out a form for free info. or WORSE someone else filled out the form online for the free resources and used a bogus phone number just in case of calls and it happens to be your number. They would gladly erase your number if you answered & tell them it was the wrong contact. Hope this helps everyone.

They have called several times in one day, continously. The message said something about a debt analysis survey, that I requested, although I didn't request such a thing.

Do not ever, whatever you boss says, call this number again. It's called predetory harrassment.
