I was recently in an accident in Omaha, NE and received the same call from the same person.  I didn't answer, but she left a message with an 800 number to call back. 1-800-258-7431.
I called right back and her voice mail says to leave your name, number and area code and "she might call back".
I would agree that this is very suspicious.

Dont talk to Leah or Tonya or anyone from this area code!  All of them work with the insurance companies to ensure that you do not get a fair settlement.  They work with Chiropractors all over the US and these doctors will see you and tell you there is nothing really that wrong with you, just a litle misalignments here and there but no real damage.   Then when you settle, the insurance gives you such a low settlement based on the information these doctors are giving them.  I know of several people who went to the doctor in our area who work with the insurance company that were in severe pain and were told there was nothing wrong with them......Well I sent one friend to my doctor and she had two ruptured discs and a fractured arm.  The Chiropractor she was sent to by Leah NEVER took and xray on her arm.  When you get a call from these people DONT go where they tell you too.  There really might be something way wrong with you and they would NEVER tell you.  The insurance companies will find any way NOT to pay claims, and its really getting harder for anyone who really is hurt to get a settlement because of all the fraudulent claims out there!  If you do some research its very interesting how this "Wellness Center" is located on insurance row in Atlanta, GA. ;right next to STATE FARM!  Check out the other numbers that call people like you and see what every one has found out so far, very interesting!  Here are the other numbers, 770-980-1288(Ryan)and (Tonya), 770-980-0982(Dee Weaver)and (Leah),770-980-1186(Presley), 770-980-0553(Miss Jones), and they always leave an 1-800-324-0704 number to call them back.  I have done alot of research and they have been sent to court several times for this harasment and fraud.  They even go as far as saying they are the insurance company and they will not pay your claims if you do not go to the doctor they send you too.  Very scary stuff, do your homework, and always ask your friends and family who they see and who they know is a good reputable doctor.  Stay away from the NEW doctors in town until you know they are going to take care of you the patient not the insurance company.  Feel free to email me at hspiesshoefer@yahoo.com if you have any questions, we all should get together and make this stop!

Same for me recieved call from Leah "wellness center".  When I questioned her she told me it was her job to find out if I'm OK.  I am also in Ohio, I obviously did not disclose any information to her.  She told me the accident report is public.  Of interest the accident was two months ago and a very minor fender-bender

I have several patients who have been called non-stop for day by this company out of Atlanta Georgia.  They have claimed to be the insurance company, the adjusters on the patients case, and even have gone far as telling the patients they do not pay for claims if they continue to treat with the doctors they are seeing.  They also tell the patients that they only work with one particular doctor in our area of Fort Smith Arkansas.  When we called the doctor who hired this company, River Valley Back and Neck, the Doctor and staff refused to give any information to why these people are calling my patients.  I am all for a good health competition, however; when they lie to get the patients to quit treatment by scaring them to treat with a doctor they are unfamilar with than they have crossed the line.  If you recieve calls from a company that lies and tells you to quit going to the doctor you are teating or tells you they with not pay claims if you dont see this other doctor they work with you should call the attourney general in your area and file a complaint of fraud against the person who called you and give all detailed information, phone numbers, clinic they want to schedule you with and there name.  This harassment must stop!

Thanks to all for posting here.  I hit a deer Monday morning, and had this caller on my voicemail Wednesday afternoon.  Thanks to these posts I know not to talk to these people.

Oops, as I typed that sentence, they called me again.  I asked who asked them to contact me, and got a big old run-around.  Told them not to call again.

I also was recently rear-ended in an accident. Now I am getting phone calls from a "Mrs. Reyes" with the Welness Center.  Her phone number is 770-980-1614.  I found this thread before calling her back, and when I verified that she was with this wellness group, I told her that I had done some research on the internet and that she need not ever call my number again.  If they do call, I will report it to the Attorney General's office.

This hapened to me as well after a recent accident. I recevied a call from this same number but the person identified herself as Dee Weaver with the Doctors Wellness Center. I called the Attorney Generals Office and they told me that this is an old tactic to facillitate a fishing scheme. Seems they police report is public record and these companys will buy it and then use the information to do what ever it is they do. They advised me not to return their calls anymore or if you have caller id to ignoe the call. Eventually it will stop.

I got the same phone call. Got the call twice from 770-980-0982. She said her name was Leah Williams calling from the Wellness Center regarding my traffic accident. She wanted to know if I was okay. I said I'm fine..she said thank you for calling back I will make a note of it. I thought in hindsight it sounded fishy so I googled it and saw all of these similar responses. What can be done about this??? What is their angle???

I was involved in an accident when someone rear-ended me.  This company has called me non-stop.  It is very annoying and scary.  I am having my attorney contact them to stop their stalking behavior.

Phone numbers involved are 614-330-9813; 303-280-8689; 770-980-1614; 770-980-0938; and 1-800-258-7431.

If this company calls me again, I will report them to the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

Same thing - collision...Leah was her name.  She said she was "handling the medical side" making me think, at first, the insurance had contacted them, and she would set me up with a Chiropractor.  I told her I'd go to my own doctor.  Then, I point-blank asked her for her phone # to which she refused.  Wellness Center is all I could get.  After a little while, I called the number back since it was on my caller ID.  I asked her the name of her company - Wellness Center.  Leah, again.  I asked her how she had gotten my number?  She said that the "accident reports are forwarded directly to us" then asked if I was OK.  Told her I was sore, and then hung up.  Very rude when I called back.

That is when I did a reverse phone look up with the number.  I consistently received a single, male name at least 4 x along with a female name with 6 records.  Both, at least, live (or lived) at the same address.  While I will not mention the names, I did discover that they had a great many different addresses all in Georgia which include at least 5 different cities.  There is more, and if you will go to the yellow pages, white pages, AND any reverse directory, plug in the number, you will find the same thing.

If this isn't a scam, I'll eat my hat.

I just got this call too (I missed it and it went to voice mail). I was rear-ended 2 weeks ago in Columbus and the police report was released last week. Someone named Leah left a voice message saying it was "very important" I call her back at the same 1-800 number Jim above mentioned.

Just so you know...I received the same call, today. I was rear-ended on Interstate 75 last week. The police report was released late yesterday afternoon, and I've received four (4) separate "fishing" calls today. One of them was from "Leah" of the Wellness Center. I, too, questioned who she was and the nature of the call. She, too, told me that her job was to follow up. I informed her that I had never heard of the "Wellness Center," to which she replied, "few have heard of us." I also informed her that I would not be disclosing any information to her. She replied, "we already have your information, I'll just report that you're alright." -CLICK- she hung up. She was very terse and unfriendly. It seems clear, to me, that my information on the police report (DOB, SSN, Address and phone numbers) are easily accessible to these people. This has me very concerned!

1 week after being rear-ended on the interstate I got a call from someone identifying herself as "Malia Williams" who said she was from the "Wellness Center" and began asking me "follow up" questions about my personal health. I questioned her about what agency she was with and her demeanor became very defensive (2nd red flag) and she haughtily informed me that it was her job to determine if I was OK.  Instead of answering her questions I asked her to verify which "wellness center" she was affiliated with & she HUNG UP ON ME!  SCAMMER!

I was involved in an accident when I hit a car that pulled out in front of me attempting to make a left onto O st. This was on Saturday. Today I have received two calls from chiropractor telemarketers attempting to trick me into thinking they are legally involved in the case so I'll make an appointment and they can bill the insurance companies. Lea from Wellness Center and Linda who didn't identify a company.  After a little digging I found this:

I also received a call from this number and she also identified herself as from the Wellness Center and knew someone slammed into my car.  When I said I was not interested, she just hung up.  I know the economy is horrible, but I felt bad that someone would do such a miserable job, although the call was very much unappreciated.
