Got a call and like the others could not understand.   As for previous comments about the do not call, that is kind of a joke.   If the government wants to make some money why doesn't the "Do Not Call List" government office use the NSA meta-data list for any scam call and just run all the numbers they call against their do not call list and fine them for each called number on the do not call list.

They call because a) they do not obey the law and b) they are probably from a foreign country using VOIP with caller ID spoofing to appear to be in the US.  The Do Not Call list  cannot prevent anyone from calling you. It works when legitimate companies register as telemarketers who offer goods or services for sale by telephone and then remove numbers found there from their calling lists. Who ever heard of a scammer registering for access to the DNC list so as not to call folks registered there?

Just rec'd a call from 772-001-7888.  I didn't pick up but the person on the other end said something that I couldn't understand on the answering machine and then hung up.  I am registered on the "No Call List".  How can this company call?
