Yep, same thing happened to me about an ad on CL. Sent me a message telling me he didn't have exactly what I was looking for but he had this other item and told me I could see it at http://image-send.com, so I went there. I put in the PhotoID he had given me and it said I didn't have the necessary add-on for viewing aGIMP file. Then it tried to redirect me to some download with a toolbar and nonsense I had no use for. I wish these sort of people would mind their own business and leave those of us trying to make legitimate deals alone.
